In the revised time-line, authorities are saying Campos was shot and wounded in the leg at 9:59 p.m., as he approached the door of suite 135, on the 32nd floor. *before* the shooting on the crowd started.
There are many changes in possible scenarios that come with this revelation, and many questions.
The security guard is reported as responding to a “door ajar” alarm on another room. Why was he shot? Sheriff Lombardo says Campos reported the shooting immediately, but the police did not know about it until they discovered him on the 32nd floor, wounded, about 18 minutes later. From abcnews.go.com:

Makes one question:
When Campos said he was just doing his job.... who was his boss? What job was he referring to?
Whoever shot him, why didn’t they kill him if their intent was to kill concertgoers?
Campos and shooter knew each other.
The Security Guard went to Paddocks floor to investigate a door alarm that had gone off (not one to Paddocks room).
He heard a drilling noise coming from Paddocks room (he was trying to install a peep hole for a camera), and went to investigate, somehow Paddock found out Campos was outside in the hallway and fired around 200 rounds at him. Campos alerted another employee who stayed out of line of fire.
Padddock then started shooting out the window, shooting at the avgas tanks to try and make a diversion.
His plan seems to have failed and finding the jig was up killed himself.
Maybe they will find out other stuff about Paddock but my best theory is that he was Batsh*t crazy.

Latest news is that police who later found him were not aware that he was shot.
Perhaps the security guard got the timing of events mixed up, or saw it being reported wrong and set the record straight on when he was shot. Maybe it is important that he clarified he was shot “before” the shooter let loose on the crowd. I won’t speculate openly any further. Odd that we are hearing absolutely nothing from the guy. Perhaps he lawyered up.
okay I’m going to tell you something a little odd I saw the other day
I live in Las Vegas.. Sunday I drove down by the Mandalay Bay.. Mandalay Bay.is three-sided... the side the shooting was on faces the airport and that’s the side you see the two windows broken out by the shooter
... but as I drove on the freeway which is the opposite side I noticed the Mandalay Bay had four Windows shot out on that side to approximately the same floor as the shooting and two lower down
The Mandalay Bay right now has 6 Windows shot out two on the airport side where the shooting was
and four on the freeway side which is the opposite.... hotels like this don’t have random Windows broken out
I can see possibly the two on the same shooting for on the opposite side might of had bullets go across but then why the windows broken out lower down
the third side facing Russell Road south towards the welcome to Las Vegas sign did not have any Windows broken whatsoever

Why the delay calling cops? Does not add up. Was Campos his buddy or paid to letting him smuggle weapons and then they got in a dispute?
My take is also they might have known each other... but under what circumstances?
If he reported immediately that he was shot (and where), then he did his job. The apparent breakdown in communications is between the hotel security office and the police on the way or coming in the front door.
Let’s see what else is learned.

Well, the jfk killing was the gold standard for subterfuge. The Warren gaggle of paid-for stiffs made it official, and that framework has been followed ever since. The deep state shouts-down everyone.
that interview with SCP’s brother Eric is interesting. Eric thinks that SCP somehow went unexplainably crazy in the course of months.
however it is consistent if SCP were a patsy and was executed instead of committing suicide.
The security guard timeline change allows the patsy scenario and also the accomplice scenario.
There seem to be wide open holes in the official account.
I wonder why no one asked Eric if he believed that his brother could have been a patsy and if so could in fact be innocent of the shootings.
If people are not going back over the timeline and re-analyzing all the conclusions then the timeline change serves to throw the media and the public off balance and possibly off track. There seems to be a need to go back and re-analyze the shooting.
There is also a need for re-analyzing if there are in fact more windows broken than just two.
The press statements in retrospect are starting to sound like a blind panic response by LE. Presuming SCP is guilty of the shooting seems as if it might be jumping to conclusions with the new timeline.
There seems to be a rush to judgment.
There also seems to be either an inadvertent or deliberate effort to misinform the public.
Both of these spell something very important and something very bad happened. And that the relevant facts may be buried forever.
One interesting element about the JFK killing was that dozens of professional assassins from all over the world were in Dallas that day—not to kill JFK—but to celebrate a festival featuring their craft in action on the big stage.
These folks play by different rules, and compromising authorities is an essential element of how you survive in that business.
What I would like to know is how many “deep state” actors were hanging out at the Mandalay to “celebrate” “the event”.

This is not unreasonable, particularly with full-auto. The shooter started out on the wrong angle and probably dumped most of his magazine at the wrong angle. I'd guess one section of the opposite wall (the wrong section) is very dead.
I would expect Paddock, after trying to blow up the fuel storage tank and failing, to have locked the door when he decided to focus on the crowd. If there is a second shooter, this locked interior door is not evidence supporting his existence.

The terrorists got sloppy. The security guard was on the floor and noticed an open door (??). Said guard poked his head inside and saw all of the guns, ammo, electronics.
Scamble, scamble, terrorists are busted. They need to melt away into the night.
Paddock rented the room, and is now a risk.
They need to silence Paddock and create a diversion for escape.
Someone calculates some targeting of the concert far below (calculations are in Paddocks handwriting??)

What was the date and time of that event?
Why so many guns, cell phones, tannerite, and ammo?
Was Paddock simply the arms dealer.?
I think it very likely.
A security gets shot in the leg, though a door, on the 32nd floor, where there are a lot of whales and vip’s.
He is ambulatory, and the wound is not life threatening.
Someone has to figure out who is involved and if there is a way it can be covered up, or if the police can/need to be kept out of the “problem”.
