Losing houses
We had the most beautiful views of hills and mountains. But yes, dangerous to choose to live there in a drought. We were only renting.
If you know someone who has pets and needs temporary boarding, Country Care Pet Resort will take them in. No need to call, just come in.

Thanks for posting this. Im in Alabama but am praying for the victims of the fire.
As an animal lover, I am just as worried about the pets. Its scaring me that people may be leaving their pets behind, just like some did during the hurricanes.
Will ISIS take credit?
It’s about the money in the Houston area, too, when it comes to food control. Developers put in 36 inch drain pipes that eventually run into 12 inch pipes.
I would assume everything gets backed up with that design.
My old neighborhood is on fire. Fire burning up the hill behind Anaheim Hills Elementary. Homes burned in Hidden Canyon. Sad.
What about supply and demand?
Terrible. Prayers up.
One of my daughters friends parents home was burned down.
That’s why flooding gets worse every year. The building moves farther and farther out which means more concrete and less dirt to absorb the rain. So it runs toward the Gulf. If there’s enough it starts backing up.
Harvey mat have been a rare event but we flooded two years in a row before Harvey.
I've been evacuated from my home.
Please ping me with any Southern California related articles. Thank you!
If you want on or off this ping list, please FReepmail me.
Prayers for you, Evening Star. I hope your home is safe!
Prayers sent!! The fire looks HORRIBLE been watching coverage of it all day
Santa Antifa Winds.
There you go.
That’s a lot of wind... all hot.
“:^)
It sure is. Canyon Heights Dr appears to have several houses on fire.
At least one place burned to the ground in Hidden Canyon.
Zero percent containment. Wind is blowing to the southwest. There’s a second front in Orange Park Acres, I suspect embers from the original fire must have landed there. Several homes on fire in OPA, mandatory evacuation.
We are having a Santa Ana Wind condition. Humidity is 9%. The wild vegetation is bone dry and there’s lots of it because we had a wet spring.
We get very bad fires when conditions are like this. What would be an insignificant fire any other time will explode into something huge.
My feet get cracked when there is low humidity.
The last few days I’ve had some real raw spots, and some beginning cracks.
It’s amazing how dry they can get.
A High School friend, of my Grand Daughter, who was married two weeks ago and and they moved into their new home had their home burn in the Santa Rosa fire yesterday! OMG!!
