Your answers to these nasty people have been very good. Thank you.
My son lives there (right downtown, but the fire line is still a couple of blocks away) and has been sending out pictures all day. His buddy, who lives in the north end of the city where the fire first hit, lost his house, his daughter lost her house and his mother lost her house as well. The guy had literally only the tee shirt and pants he was wearing, and it was so bad when he came into the bar where everybody was gathering that he just started laughing and laughing. He said he couldnt believe that only about 4 hours earlier, hed had a house, a truck, etc. - and now all he had was what he was wearing.
BTW, they scrounged up some beer promotional tee shirts left by distributors, so hes now got a fine beer wardrobe.
You are welcome...Just no excuse for this type of posting here—especially on this thread.
Glad your son is safe...Sorry about his friend’s and friend’s daughter’s house...
Was just talking to my spouse (who may be moving there temporarily for a job) and said I just can’t imagine what it would be like to get a knock on door in middle of night to immediately evacuate...and then lose everything...so many memories gone...wow. Glad your son is safe.
Hard lots of people out of power...
And to learn that the Kmart is burned down so cannot even go get some new cheap clothing...or eat at cheap Arbys...
Very sad...
Beer wardrobe huh? Well, that will be a tale to tell at holidays...
Thoughts and prayers up for your son and hhis friends and neighbors.
