Las Vegas (CNN)In addition to his frequent forays into casinos and gun shops, Las Vegas strip killer Stephen Paddock took 20 cruises, many of them in Europe and the Middle East, investigators have learned.
New video shows concertgoers fleeing scene 02:57 The cruises included stops at ports in Spain, Italy, Greece, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates, according to information provided by a law enforcement source who asked not to be identified because the source was not authorized to share information about the investigation. Paddock's girlfriend, Marilou Danley, accompanied him on nine of the cruises.

In the wake of Sunday's attack, authorities now believe Paddock rigged his car to explode if fired upon, according to information provided by the source. The car, a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Touring, contained 90 pounds of Tannerite and two suitcases filled with hundreds of rounds of ammunition. Explosive-sniffing dogs discovered the vehicle, according to the information.

Investigators have also determined that Paddock booked three rooms at the Ogden, a luxury condominium tower in Las Vegas, between September 17 and September 28. The condos were on high floors and facing north overlooking the Life Is Beautiful music festival, according to the information provided by the source. He attempted to book a room at the El Cortez, but there were no vacancies, according to the information. The source said investigators recovered a notepad with numbers in it "significant to the gunman" and were attempting to determine their meaning.
The presence of the numbers was first reported by The New York Times, based on an interview with Sheriff Joseph Lombardo of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

True, but he didn’t “nut up” and shoot into those venues. If he was simply off the rails, why not shoot before? Was this concert a specific target? If he was simply suicidal and want a grand body count and statement, why not go to Chicago and fire on Lollapalooza which had over 40,000 people in Grant Park and Obama’s daughter was there. Imagine the media coverage if she had been injured or God Forbid, killed. Just seems odd..
I see no other conclusion. He was an arms dealer that laundered his money through casinos. Eventually gave himself to islam through interactions with some of his customers. Converted several months ago and carried out this attack.

Or worse yet, used his pilot training/experience and flew a plane full of gas canister's, bearings, etc. at the 22,000+ at the concert. At night, he could have cut the engines when he got close and simply plowed right into the unsuspecting mass of people. Would have been far more casualties.
That appears to be most logical motive. What about his internet use, and websites/twitter/facebook places that are Jihad? ISIS claimed he was recent convert, so why not pursue to see if true?
This guy was supposed to be very smart, and judging by all the pre-planning, if he thought he needed a 2nd window smashed on that side of the building for any reason...one of those other windows in the same large room would make far more sense than in the other room next door.
He had to have known he didn't have unlimited time so having to go into the other room through the door would be costly in terms of time. Furthermore, he most likely didn't have the video set up in that other room to monitor the hallway.

Better line of site to the fuel tanks. However, that flies in the face of the planning you point out. Combined with his pilot background makes it very odd he bothered shooting at those kero tanks, but he did.
It does if his goal was to make people uncertain of the number of shooters or which direction to run. And that is exactly what happened. He booked the room. Obviously did not need it for himself. Note the food service cart was placed in front of that second rooms door. So it served a purpose.

when there are multiple signals about IslamoNazi, Muslim connections....and where, as in Vegas, one of the Islamic murder gangs is INSISTING it carried out the attack.... over and over again ... then there’s plenty of smoke to indicate it may be one more Muslim attack on innocent Americans

There was mention of tannerite, which detonates from firearms round impact. If he taped some to the side of the kero tanks, it could explain it.
I’ve seen other stories that now say there was access to his room even after his car left. What if he did have help, and a key to this is the accomplice took the car loaded with explosives to an area near the tanks. That would be the dry run in the days leading up. However on the night it happened, his accomplice bailed. There was no car to shoot at to explode. Tried to just go ahead and take some shots at the tanks. Realized the gig was up and did as much damage as possible. My gosh my head is spinning with all this.
