While this may be true, there seems to be a lot of effort to make the narrative anything other than this being an attack on a mostly white, conservative-leaning crowd.

I suspect the hits on the hangar and fuel storage tanks were “golden BB’s”.

Queue the X-Files theme.
This guy sounds like he may have been privy to some interesting information, but was paranoid and went off the deep end with it.

But the retired 64-year-old also broke a second window and fired at two circular, white-pained fuel tanks 1,110 feet from the concert site on the edge of McCarran International Airport.
Officials have now confirmed he hit the tanks twice, although the bullets did not pierce their shells. Construction crews have already whitewashed the damage. Airport fueling has not been compromised, airport spokesman Chris Jones acknowledged. Its functional. If it really was Paddock's intention to hit those tanks, he would have known enough to have brought up a Barrett .50 cal rifle with him, instead of 23 AR10s and AR15s.

🛫. Was that what he was shooting at behind the fuel farm? Stealth jets so stealthy they were invisible? And here we thought only Wonder Woman had that.

He also hit a trash can in the concert venue, which is proof that he knew that trash cans are used by the CIA for special covert purposes. Since no one's talking about the trash can that was shot, we can conclude this the CIA trash can program is so classified and sensitive that everyone is afraid to even mention this angle.
Even president Trump hasn't talked about the trash can, which of course means that the CIA trash can program is very, very secret and important.

This is total speculation just to gin up the Area 51 people.
There is zero evidence (so far) that he was trying to “target” this airline.

More paranoid straw clutching.

If this nut job wanted to attack fuel tanks and parked aircraft would have needed something bigger than AR 15
Something like 50 BMG caliber like a Barrett semi auto
Also ammunition like Armor piercing incendiary to set fuel on fire

This has been bubbling around Vegas for a couple of days. As far as I can learn the planes were never really in danger. If the shooter was trying to punch holes in the tanks and the planes then a 50 cal would of been a better choice and easily obtainable.
