This has been bubbling around Vegas for a couple of days. As far as I can learn the planes were never really in danger. If the shooter was trying to punch holes in the tanks and the planes then a 50 cal would of been a better choice and easily obtainable.
Perhaps he did have an accomplice(s) that were supposed to do something with all that tannerite?
