Las Vegas gunman Stephen Paddock reportedly researched hotels near Fenway Park in the run up to the deadliest shooting in recent American history.
No hotel nearby the park commands a clear view of the Fenway stands.
Officials briefed on the investigation's details spoke to reporters on the condition of anonymity Thursday, revealing Paddock researched Boston and booked a hotel room in Chicago overlooking Grant Park when the Lollapalooza music festival would have been going on.
Boston police on Thursday issued a statement saying the department is aware Paddock likely researched the city and is working with federal authorities.

Did he book the room the room in Chicago for other perps?
This guy is an agent of a terror group. He has worked very hard to appear to be a ghost, but I would bet he had another computer with another identity somewhere.
Looks like the forensic investigation is moving forward by dissecting the computers or other information traces to him, his buying habits and travels I assume would be through Credit Card records now that his expiration lifts privacy regulations.
How many of those did he shoot up?
None.
They are really grasping at straws to try and show this guy wasn’t out to kill conservatives.
I was sitting in a car dealership Monday morning. The tv was on to the ABC channel.
George Snuffleupagus was on talking about this and said they were going to be covering this all morning.
A few minutes later, they went back to their regular show.
They found out something they didn’t want everyone to see.
guess this nut wasn’t much of a beach guy.
dozens of massive hotels along beaches at spring break locations with 100’000+ people on the beach, with no cover, packed in like sardines.
Josh and his BLM and National Felon League be tearing us apart.
For those unfamiliar with the area there are no very tall buildings surrounding Fenway Park, much less hotels. The Park is in the Kenmore Square area. The largers hotels are not even close to it.
Why would a lone gunman wanting to use an army’s worth of arsenal be scouting a location all the way across the continent? He surely knew he could not get many if any guns through an airport. It also seems unlikely he would pack up a U-Haul and drive his armory across the country. It only makes sense if he knew he would be supplied with what he wanted when he got there.
Not one single bit of evidence picked up so far leads to a group idea. I do admit...several bits do point to money-laundering being part of his lifestyle for a number of years...but he was obviously smart enough to avoid IRS detection or audits.
That is a non-story——nothing there.
.
Either that or the guy was actually casing a number of events that weren’t focused on Trump loving Conservatives.
If this guy was a Leftist Conservative hating individual, I want it known. If he didn’t really care who he killed, and would have been satisfied to kill Lefties, we should accept it.
Didn’t he work for the IRS? He would know how to avoid them.
No, there is more here than just money laundering
Don't know, but he had a large "mini-van" and was a licensed pilot.
We know this guy traveled around a lot. It’s wouldn’t be surprising that he may be checking out hotels in various areas.
OMG, a guy who’s retired and has a history of traveling around the world on a whim googled some hotels. Maybe he wanted to go to a game like hundreds of other people.
Hey, I just googled the Mandalay’s parking lot in relation to the airport fuel tanks. Oh, the hugh manatee! The feds should be knocking down my door any minute. FYI, a 30 second review of the map will show the parking lot is behind the hotel so the lying msm can put that fake news about blowing up his car in order to blow up the tanks to bed.
This guy is an agent of a terror group.
...
In any case he wanted to kill a large number of people somewhere in America.
I don’t think he was scouting out shooting locations in Chicago or Boston. My theory is he was in the illegal weapons business meeting customers in swanky hotel suites. Then laundering his transactions through real estate and casinos.
Follow the money.
