Las Vegas sheriff drops new GIANT hints about shooter…and it’s getting weirder

More information is coming to light about Stephen Paddock, the man responsible for the horrific mass shooting in Las Vegas this past Sunday, as Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo held a press conference Wednesday night to share new details — and drop some tantalizing hints about what they’re learning.

According to The Daily Wire, Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo said during a Wednesday evening press conference that he believes alleged gunman Stephen Paddock had help and that there is evidence that suggests he didn’t plan to die in his hotel room.

Lombardo said that he has seen evidence that suggests that Paddock planned to escape but he cannot reveal what that evidence is at this point. Later in the press conference he double-downed on his statement and added that so far no one has been able to dismiss the theory.

They are sitting on what they know.
Look at how long they are taking with that muslim cop who shot the Aussie lady...”we are still investigating”.
BS...they are sitting on their hands.

Most people had already taken cover or fled at least five minutes after the rampage began, so paddock had fewer targets. However, many first responders and good samaritans who helped the fallen exposed themselves to paddock.

What evidence?

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

remember the old tv show “Las Vegas”?

they had cameras all over the hotel w/ facial recognition.

when are they going to show all the mandalay bay tapes of paddock comings & goings to the public?

should answer a lot of questions there.

bonus question:

does anyone else think that all these cameras that paddock allegedly sat up remind anyone of the “sting cams” they had set up for former DC Mayor Marion Barry???

couldn’t this whole deal be another gummit sting gone bad?

They’ll wait it out and the interest will die down until the next tragedy.

I’ve had this question for a while, ever since I heard that the separate bedroom door was locked and the cops had to “make entry” or some such...

The separate bedroom was the room with the 2nd broken window.

Did Paddock have a partner whose job was to shoot from there, get cold feet, lock himself/herself in then leave by the separate entrance into the hallway while P was shooting at the crowd?

Maybe the note on the coffee table said “the bitch set me up”... or some hint at who or why..

He wasn’t a tactician or rifleman; that’s the best explanation I can give you. I’ve been talking to other riflemen, and we all agreed he chose the wrong weapon, it is a grace that he chose bump-stocks, he was double-minded in his load-out choices, and WTFO with the aluminum nitrate. It looks like he was a pawn.

Yeah, at one point the Sheriff was joking and chuckling about having lunch with a reporter and it seemed very improper, but then I realized this guy probably hadn’t slept in 4 days.

Sheriff Lombardo is a law-and-order Republican. It will be a hoot if he can undermine the corrupt fbi that may be trying to control him.

Either knowingly or unknowingly due to lack of sleep.....

McCabe's sole purpose at this point is to try and somehow link this to "right-wing extremists". No doubt he is consulting with the marxist SPLC at this very moment.

Oh now you're being silly! He doesn't need to consult with the SPLC - clearly this wasn't a hate crime - it was just a bunch of redneck republican Trump supporters that got shot.

No hate crime there!

FBI is not only implicated. They now control the evidence, interviews and the investigation.

Don’t mean to change the subject of the thread, but just curious about the photographs. How does the Daily Mail always have many, many professional photographs of these terrorist events posted so fast? Do they have reporters in every city around the world? Do they just pay citizens for their cell phone pics, then enhance the image?

I’ve got to leave for work, but I’ll read later to see if anyone knows how this happens. Events in Europe and elsewhere ...same thing, professional photographs of the tragedies just minutes after it happens it seems like.

<>We're not supposed to get the entire story during an investigation ... particularly one that might involve accomplices

Which is why the Sheriff, FBI, ATF and all the other alphabets should SHUT UP.

I’m wanting to think it was at a least a two man job, and it was the number 2 guy’s job to kill Paddock, who was known to the casino and doubtful he could make a clean getaway and not get found at some point, and then after killing Paddock the 2nd shooter could anonymously make his escape. But then again, sending the $100G’s to the girlfriend does seem like a kiss off and money given for services rendered. Which brings us back to motive...was he the single shooter and radicalized?

Part of being a professional, in any field, is knowing your limits.

This guy need some crew rest.

From the article:

“....Lombardo also indicated that based on the stockpile of different weapons Paddock had that he had to have had help at some point.

“He had to have some help at some point,” Lombardo said. “Maybe he’s a super-guy. … maybe he’s super-yahoo, was working out all this on his own, but it would be hard for me to believe that.”

An intense area of interest for investigators at the moment is the last 12 months of Paddock’s life, as they discovered he bought 33 guns in just a year’s time. Could this be the time frame of his radicalization one way or the other?

At this point anything is possible, though we won’t know for sure until more pieces of this mysterious puzzle are found.

One thing we know for sure is that there was absolutely a motive, a reason for carrying out this horrific act, because no one carefully plans something like this without some sort of “cause” being behind it.

Let’s hope answers are found soon.

My question is, why no internet presence for this guy?

Why the multiple homes?

I understand it’s not TV and we shouldn’t expect the case solved in an hour minus commercials, but we still don’t even have any solid info on motive. For a mass shooter not having a motive after 4 days seems odd. We knew why on the nightclub shooting and the one in California almost immediately.

Believe it or not, most county Sheriffs have great and sweeping authorities.

“There are 16 sheriff's departments in Nevada, and two of them are unique, as the Carson City Sheriff's Office is a result of the 1967 merger of the old Carson City Police Department and the Ormsby County Sheriff's Department, as well as the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department which is the result of the 1973 merger of the Clark County Sheriff's Office and the old Las Vegas Police Department.”
