Five Huge Unanswered Questions About The Las Vegas Shooting
Daily Caller ^ | 10/5/17 | Peter Hasson

Posted on 10/05/2017 4:03:02 AM PDT by markomalley

Three days after 64-year-old Stephen Paddock opened fire on Las Vegas concertgoers late Sunday night, several huge questions remain unanswered.

WHO, if anyone, helped Paddock carry out his operation?

Clark Country Sheriff Joseph Lombardo said at a press conference Wednesday night that he assumes Paddock likely had help in carrying out his mass murder.

“You got to make the assumption he had to have help at some point, and we want to ensure that’s the answer,” Lombardo said. “Maybe he’s a super guy, super hero–not a hero, super–I won’t use the word. Maybe he’s super — that was working out this out on his own, but it will be hard for me to believe that.”

So far, there is no publicly available evidence that Paddock had help in carrying out his plot.

If, as the sheriff believes, Paddock had help, the question remains: from whom? Paddock’s longtime girlfriend, Marilou Danley, was in the Philippines at the time of the attack. She claims to have had no knowledge of Paddock’s murderous intentions.

WHAT was Paddock planning to do with a car full of bomb-making materials?

Law enforcement officials discovered large quantities of bomb-making materials in Paddock’s car, which was parked at the Mandalay Bay hotel.

Lombardo told reporters on Monday that ammonium nitrate, a chemical compound used to make homemade bombs, was found in Paddock’s car. On Wednesday, Lombardo said that law enforcement officers also found 50 pounds of Tannerite, an explosive chemical, in Paddock’s car.

It’s unclear what Paddock ultimately aimed to do with the car full of bomb-making materials.

HOW did Paddock plan to escape?

Sheriff Lombardo said Wednesday night that he has reason to believe that Paddock originally planned to remain alive or escape after carrying out the mass murder.

Paddock committed suicide after detecting an unarmed security guard outside his room.

How did he plan to escape? That question remains unanswered.

WHY did Paddock buy a room overlooking another concert the week before?

Paddock purchased a room at the Ogden Las Vegas during another music festival, Life Is Beautiful, the previous weekend.

Paddock’s room at the Ogden, like his room at the Mandalay Bay, overlooked the concert venue.

Was the Ogden room a practice run for Sunday night’s massacre? Was it a target? “We don’t know yet,” Lombardo said.

WHY?

The biggest question in the wake of the shooting: Why did he do it?

More than 72 hours after the deadliest mass shooting in American history, the public still has no answer for why Paddock did what he did.

the deadliest mass shooting in American history

I thought that was at Wounded Knee when the government tried to disarm the Lakota.

Some Saudi Prince was funding his gambling habit.

I assume Sheriff Lombardo, a Republican, was referring to receiving assistance from someone else, not just blabbing about it to a confidant.

Hotel security cameras would provide much coverage of his movement there.

So, you know? Was it the Cubans, some French spook, LBJ, Papa Bush, Alpha 66 Iranians, Badge Man, Lee Harvey Oswald, or the Mafia?

Naw. It was when Custer and his command got theirs.

What is your source for that?

It wouldn’t surprise me at this point, though I doubt seriously a Saudi Prince would allow himself to be directly financially linked.

My question still is, why 23 guns?

We will probably never know for certain many of the facts about his rampage, including why he had so many rifles in the room.

I read somewhere one theory is that he had multiple rifles loaded and ready to go and that he changed weapons instead of magazines.

When the magazine was empty in one rifle he just picked up the next in line and resumed firing.

Until and if forensics finds spent bullets that can be matched to a specific rifle we won't really know.

Also, I suspect that his location was identified much more quickly than he anticipated and that he planned on being able to continue his slaughter for much longer than is the case.

Doesn't hold, I am 73, I can change Mags faster than I can put down one rifle, pick up another and gt back in position.

Paddock and his GF visited the Middle East. US Intelligence monitored all his and her meetings and messages. There was a Foreign Surveillance Warrant on his Philippian GF. His selection of Las Vegas as his target threw off the intelligence monitors, because they thought he was there for the gambling.

I can only rely on the Warren Commission report as being the official version of what happened. I was 20 years old when JFK was assassinated. I saw Oswald murdered live on TV by Jack Ruby. The grassy knoll, Zapruder film, and other theories of JFK’s death will never die. Conspiracy theories acquire a life of their own whether it is 9/11, the moon landings, etc. Sometimes Occam’s Razor obtains.

“In the fog of war, how many cops went in and how many came out? Easy enough to hide in the bathroom and in the commotion pop out dressed as a cop and yell, “All clear” and slip out with no one the wiser.”

Because the swat team wouldn’t find someone hiding in the bathroom. Seems unlikely.

Maybe he rented another room in the hotel under a false ID and intended to flee there. The fact that his location was discovered in 11 minutes, something he probably did not plan on, killed his escape plan.

Given the links between the weapons and himself along with registering under the name of his girlfriend and other forensic information, would clearly have identified him as the shooter. His escape plan had to be as a fugitive on the run similar to his father.

The above are Democrat talking points !

The supposed escape route is all speculation at this point. If true, then why did he off himself(if he actually did) when a lone, unarmed security guard showed up at the door? Everyone is searching for a motive - crazy is at the bottom of every mass murder’s motive. As others have said he may of had a purpose but that still leaves crazy as root cause in the “Five Why” analysis.

Why not blow the Tannerite in the room to cover the escape? Guy is being attributed with way more planning and “smarts” than he actually displayed.

Thank goodness he was not as competent as he might of been. A well planned and excuted op like this would of resulted in many more deaths.

As a distraction. If the aftermath is filled with discussions about the guns and the amount of guns it sure leaves little room for much else.

Judging by the photo of him lying on the rug with the top of his head turned to red jello, he was killed by another.
