Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA) claims the attacker who opened fire on Las Vegas concert goers was only stopped “because he didn’t have a silencer on his weapon.”
According to the Washington Post, Kaine asked, “Can you imagine what this would have been if he had silencers on those weapons?”
His use of the word “silencer” is an echo of other leftists like Rosanne Cash and Gabby Giffords, both of whom use the word “silencer” to describe suppressors.

Even if the killer had a suppressor I bet people would have still been smart enough to run away when they saw their friends being hit by bullets.
According to some reports people at Las Vegas concert thought the gunshots were firecrackers until they saw people falling down from gunshot wounds.
No way is this the same guy at the anti Trump rally...
But at least you couldn’t hear the weapon firing at all!! Just like on TV!!!

Facts don’t seem to matter to the media or democrats.
Suppressors don’t silence, they muffle. Shooting a suppressed .308 long rifle still generates a lot of noise, that is unless you are shooting low velocity ammo, which you are not going to bump fire from a 32nd floor window or anywhere else without the recoil of high velocity ammo.
I keep reading some journalists insist bump stock is the same as full auto, which it is not. Bump fire is still one trigger pull equals one bullet. Full auto is one trigger pull can empty the magazine. Same thing as calling an AR-15 an “assault” rifle, which it is not.
So I turned the channel to a different local news...and they were interviewing the exact same guy, telling the exact same story.
So he obviously called all the local media to come and partake in his BS testimony. And they ran, slobbering, to cover it and get some B-roll of him turning his "machine gun" over to the police. SMH.
Look for it on the national news soon.
Because the people that vote for them are very gullible.
The really sobering thing is the sad commentary this makes about the people voted to put them in office.
