LAS VEGAS Jesus Campos had no firearm when he found Stephen Paddock and approached his room on the 32rd floor of Mandalay Bay on Sunday night. Paddock, who had rigged cameras in the hallway and on the peephole of the door, saw Campos coming and fired through the door, hitting him in the leg, said Dave Hickey, president of the International Union, Security, Police and Fire Professionals of America. I can’t answer your question.
Jesus is a very popular name in the Caribbean and South America.
It is wonderful he survived to get the recognition he deserves. Brave dude!
I'm watching Fox News Tonight and the police said the wounded hotel security man stayed with the cops and used his pass card to let them into the other suites to evacuate the guests. He kept doing this until they finally convinced him to get out and get medical help.
In effect, Jesus Campos brought an end to the massacre.
Hero!
Yea, a true hero!
How’d you find that? Very impressive.
With regard to the shooting when the guard came to the door, maybe I can give a partial answer. Hemmer on FOX news was doing an interview, and he said that when guard Jesus Campos came to the door that Paddock fired 200 rounds through the door. Now, I can’t answer if he was “aiming,” but I doubt it. We have learned that firing with a rifle configured with a bump stock is not accurate, so from the situation, it is doubtful that Paddock “aimed.” He probably was hoping that his rounds would kill whoever was in the hallway.
