I’m not sure why Tillerson still has his job. His heart obviously isn’t in it. He isn’t serving the President well. I doubt he’ll last out the year.

Frankly, I would like to see Tillerson leave. His impact has been generally nil and he has done next to nothing to drain the Foggy Bottom swamp or the embassy culture that operates abroad.

This has a ring of truth to it.... but it’s a “yesterday’s news” item.

Tillerson is a globalist, get rid of him.

Also, his primary job should be draining the swampiest part of DC cesspool, the Dept. of Sedition, which he supposedly heads. He gets along to good with those people.

Tillerson’s Fury at Trump Required an Intervention From Pence

Why have so many people who are not on board with Trump's agenda joined his administration? Get with the boss's program or take your "fury" and....go.

The tensions came to a head around the time President Donald Trump delivered a politicized speech in late July to the Boy Scouts of America

Tillerson Lobbied For Gay Youth in Boy Scouts: https://www.cnsnews.com/blog/michael-w-chapman/trumps-sec-state-rex-tillerson-lobbied-gay-youth-boy-scouts

I can see how a socially leftist guy like Tillerson would take issue with Trump's excellent speech. It's disheartening see Swamp rats like Rex (and Kelly and McMaster and others) surrounding the President.

Not buying it.

Tillerson is too much of a mature professional for such as this.

I think there needs to be a realization there isn’t a LARGE POOL of people to choose from who have America’s best interests in mind (meaning, non-globalist, personal walled-house compound kingdom builders) and are qualified for such posts.

Does anyone disagree? If there is a large pool of such folks, name them.

Tillerson: I have never considered leaving this post
Secretary of state addresses ‘erroneous’ media reports about tensions with President Trump.

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson on Wednesday blasted an NBC News report detailing his supposed rift with President Trump, affirming his “commitment” to the administration and denying that he ever considered resigning.

The NBC News report had said Tillerson considered resigning over the summer amid disagreements with the White House.

“There’s never been a consideration in my mind,” Tillerson told reporters, in a previously unscheduled statement.

The report had said Tillerson even called Trump a “moron” this summer after a meeting at the Pentagon with members of Trump’s national security team and Cabinet officials. Vice President Pence reportedly got involved at the time to discuss ways to ease tensions.

Tillerson said Wednesday he would not address “petty” stuff, but said of the president, “He loves this country. He puts Americans and America first. He’s smart.”

Trump, en route to Las Vegas to meet with survivors of Sunday’s mass shooting, also hit back Wednesday at the report.

“NBC news is #FakeNews and more dishonest than even CNN. They are a disgrace to good reporting. No wonder their news ratings are way down!” Trump tweeted.
