I thought maybe this was the case.
There is a significant possible issue with these drugs, they are vastly over-prescribed, in my view, for exactly this reason.
In my view anyway.
I KNEW it!!
They’re going to try to cover this up fast.
I have a feeling this guy was an FBI operative selling guns in lieu of a bust. That’s the only reason why he rented two rooms - the suite for the buyers and the adjoining room for himself. There’s no reason for him to have 20+ guns up there unless he was selling them. The buyers caught wind, killed him, shot up the concert, and scrambled out the back when the police locked down the strip. The police had so much mayhem to deal with, it took them forever to get to the room. 25 seconds down a elevator and boom, gone.
This probably is the FBI’s fault.
1Omg diazapam (i.e. Valium)... 10mg is light. Larger doses can cause delutions, and suicidal tendencies.
Protocol... take 2 aspirin and call me in the morning strength of protocol. What this whackjob needed was a healthy dose of fentanyl.
Full scale psychopath? Perhaps.
Millions of people are on valium. They should all be investigated?
Looking more and more like a Trump hater with mental issues that went off the deep end.
Sadly, given the extreme hate fed by the media and establishment, there are likely many others like him walking around.
Well of course.... It was that anti-anxiety drug that killed those poor people, or the guns, or maybe just maybe it was the dude who pulled the trigger.
There are no excuses for inanity, no motives, no reasoning, it just happened because the cheese slid off this dudes cracker. Plain, simple and totally unacceptable for those searching in vain for answers... But the truth hurts.
Diazepam for anxiety? That’s a heavy duty drug for a first prescription. No Xanax, Prozac, valium, bupropion or escitalopram? Diazepam is used in my prison’s psych unit. It’s a heavy hitter for a preliminary diagnosis.

Like father like son and he probably realized he was going nuts just like the old man. Boom
I would not want to engage in a witch hunt against Valium or anti-depressants, although some correlation can be found between these medications and killing sprees.
But if the Left sees these incidents as an excuse to go after guns, then it seems like a reasonable strategy to propose legislation to totally change the pharmaceutical business, and to get most of the Democrat voters (they’re all crazy) off their medications of choice.
Such a plan would outrage the Left.
And maybe convince them to back away from an assault on the Second Amendment.
I don’t think a drug caused him to do this. He had obviously already decided to do it.
Read about the horrific side affects of benzos taken at prescribed doses here: www.benzobuddies.org
He shouldn’t have passed a NICS check to buy the guns.
I’d love to see the break-down, per ‘mass murder’, that lists their recent (3yr?) Rx’s.
IMO, the clear majority of these incidents can be placed upon the Leftist utopians that “’freed’ the mentally ill from their cages”. It’s these Leftist group(s) that should be sued into oblivion for foisting the sick/deranged unto a hapless populace (thanks too to the gun-grabbers).
Tammy Bruce, on Tucker Carlson’s show, the night of the LV tragedy, brought up the prescription drug problem...and, the MSM/Dem politicizing of everything combination....she begins at about the 22 sec mark.....

Curisoisly he started buying all his guns in June too. Strange. Something is not right.
Maybe he sought the prescription because he needed the boosted confidence to commit his crime. He didn’t want to lose his nerve.
