The 2 rooms probably each ran over a thousand a night. That’s a lot of money to give up annually.
1400+ square feet. That’s bigger than my apartment.
Lot of assumptions here on my part, but presuming he ate a bullet through the roof of his mouth (as it appears), and presuming the handgun in the picture is the one he used, how in the world does that end up three feet over his head? Body contortion after the shot? Just asking?
Vegas has a mafia museum but I don’t think they can quite charge a fee for this one yet.
He apparently did not suffer enough before death. Too bad. However, he will get his in the afterlife.
I think that’s two U-shaped chairs placed front-to-front to make a sort of basin or sniper’s nest...
>>Nothing illegal about him having those firearms in his room.
Firearms at Mandalay Bay - DEF CON Forums

Jul 28, 2014 - Well, Mandalay Bay’s policy is no firearms anywhere on property, period. No storage provided regardless of reason, and if you openly carry or
http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/10/02/mandalay-bay-security-guidelines/
Mandalay Bay Convention and Events Center guidelines approved in 2012 for private security personnel make clear that such guards must adhere to a ban on weapons of any type.
The guidelines summarize such weapons as guns, knives, nightsticks, mace, pepper spray, stun guns etc., all of which are designated as strictly prohibited on Mandalay Bay property.
The 2012 guidelines state that Federal, State and local law enforcement agencies may carry weapons on Mandalay Bay property in the performance of their official duties, but the guidelines stipulate that these agencies must contact Mandalay Bay Security Management prior to arriving on property.
On October 2, Breitbart News contacted the number listed for Mandalay Bay Conventions & Special Events Security Manager/Coordinator to ask if the 2012 security guidelinesincluding the firearms banare still in place. We asked if private security guards were bound by those guidelines during the heinous October 1 attack on concert goers. The gentleman on the phone said he was not at liberty to discuss what happened last night nor to discuss what Mandalay Bay does on its property.
That much distance from the body is common. He could have just dropped the gun, and it could have bounced that far.
Likely the arm flopped a little before releasing the pistol after he was shot.
Jules talking to Marcellus: “You sendin’ the Wolf!? Damn Negro, that’s all you had to say!”.........
Interesting, thanks.
Mandalay Bay could enforce that under the trespass ordinance.
A Mandalay Bay security guy calling in to the Michael Savage radio show said the guy was a high roller or “whale” and the security staff had instructions not to mess with the high rollers.
something’s bothering me - where are all the spent magazines?
and why would someone kill himself sitting on the floor with a rifle on his lap?
"The FBI took all digital and electronic evidence into custody".
What could go wrong?
You'd be surprised. People will specifically request it.
“Why so many weapons?”
No, they get REALLY hot. 400-500 rounds fast and it is really hot. Swapping out for a fresh rifle makes very good sense.
And also, if you are gonna put that number of rounds downrange, you really need a few spares.
Can you imagine how awkward and embarrassing it would be if you had one break an extractor or leave a casing stuck in the barrel?
There you are, window broken out, and after the first burst, everyone looking at you, and there you are... breaking down the rifle and getting out a broken shell extractor? And the band breaks out in a rendition of “the loser”, No thanks...
The FBI has taken control of the room and all of the contents except the body. All the weapons are being or have been transferred to the FBI lab. Feel good about that?
The video I watched sounded like he fired off a magazine and then stopped.
Repeated a few times.
With the bipods extended, it looks like he was trying to aim.
If he had all that money, he could have put bipods on all his rifles.
Looks to me like he was putting the bipod down on some kind of brace and letting fly.
One of the rifles has a scope and I would guess he used it.
The reports say he had more than a few weapons up there.
Cover up? It’s been less than 48 hours. You expect this stuff to be online already???
Yesterday!!!
Do you have a link to that?
I think what bothered me about this video wasn’t the blood or dead people, as ex military I’ve seen all that a bunch of times in person; it was the authorities believing all the people on the field were dead without checking so they turned out the lights on them. Not good. Someone made a deadly bad call to do that.
