I don’t think he had a “do not disturb” sign on his door, or at least not all the time he was there. Maids were interviewed, they said they were in and out cleaning and supplying the room, they said they saw nothing out of the ordinary.

I have been saying the US needs to charge the girl friend with accessory, extradite her ass back to the US and deal with the legal limbo jumbo later. Get her to spill her guts because she, like the Orlando woman and know more than whats ou t there

Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Speaking of “the orlando woman”: what beans did she ever spill?

Noor salman basically said she knew nothing.

He was 64, so he wouldn’t have drawn many second looks in Vegas.

He probably used gun cases that would not draw attention to himself. Squared and not ‘gun shaped’.

He probably made more than one trip to the car to get them all up to his room. so again, no attention drawn.

He probably had them pre loaded, so he would not be lugging a case of ammo.

He most likely used the freight elevator and made sure no staff was on it.

He could have done all these things...............

Exactly.

He had this level with the casino and I’m sure others because he lost money with them. The loyalty schemes encourage you to lose more money with them by giving you perks worth less than your expected losses. I don’t understand how successful, well educated people and in particular those with financial expenses fall for becoming frequent gamblers at casinos. I do get the every once in awhile, low dollar ‘fun’. In the long run, you will lose all of your money. It’s the short run thrill and the way they treat you. There are websites dedicated to how to get the highest tiers at these casinos and there’s an expected loss and a total dollar spend to do so. Looks like this level is around 1.5mil in wagers a year (losses much smaller). It’s how they keep the addicts betting at their casinos so they lose more.

There can be little doubt that Harvard Medical School will want to study this pig's brain...

...assuming he didn't put a bullet through it.

Good customer who gambles a LOT? Well then, take whatever you want up to your room including AR-15’s and Mandalay does not care if you keep opening your wallet.

Initially asking for $100,000, Paddock reported incurring more than in $32,000 in medical bills, and also wanted to be paid for pain and suffering.

"They always ask for a lot more than they can get, but he got nothing,"

There's one motive.

He could have put them in guitar cases for all we know. It was a music festival right?

how did room service react to 4 days of do not disturb signs? Is there not a policy on that. I really think the Mandalay Bay will be sued for negligence here when the video is reviewed.

No there is no policy, and the guest may go on for his entire stay without housekeeping tidy up his room.

Not only will Mandalay Bay be sued, but so will everyone else including those who put on the festival.

There are cameras EVERYWHERE in a casino. But the focus of a casino's security is to make sure that nobody cheats the casino out of a dime.

I've stayed in Las Vegas casino-hotels. For those of us too cheap to tip the staff, they supply large roll around carts to carry one's luggage up to their room. A customer could load a couple of steamer trunks on one which would hold all the supplies the shooter needed. It wouldn't raise an eyebrow.

The shooter could even have made use of the maid service by locking the trunks when he was out of the room. There were virtually no impediments to the shooter carrying out his plan and he would have been confident of that being true ahead of time.

"... and the guest may go on for his entire stay without housekeeping tidying up his room."

Quite true. When my wife and I travel she prefers to do her own "tidying". Many times I am traveling with firearms and would prefer to believe that no one is going to make off with them.

“This was too wierd. 23 guns????? thousands of rounds of ammo. Someone had to have said something to management.”

Not unless they were all brought in a very short time window just prior to the event once he he had settled in and waited. Luggage and packages carried up to his room by multiple parties would never be noticed.
That would imply outside assistance. The casino videos are going to be very interesting if they ever are released. My guess is there was a fair amount of foot traffic other than him into and out his suite in the 24hrs leading up to his shooting spree.

Yes.

He would not have raised anybody’s attention, carrying his own stuff and not bothering anyone in the process.

Who would have even thought about a 64 year old white guy that looked like everyone’s grandfather would do what he did?

OTOH, if he had been a young Middle Eastern guy with bunch of extraneous luggage and an attitude.................

When did he reserve the room? Had he stayed in that room before?
-
From what they said on Fox News, the room would have had to be booked months in advance.

Also, he set up a camera to see when the police arrived.

These suggest to me this was well planned, in advance.

Good points. It is clear that that many guns would have taken 7 or 8 trips ( minimum) . the ammo weight alone on the 4000 rounds he fired would have been tremendous. I know he did not let the maid in but is there no policy after 4 days? The videos will be interesting.
