President Trump reacted to the Las Vegas attack by saying, “We’ll be talking about gun laws as time goes by.” According to the Washington Times, Trump praised the police response to the attack, saying on Tuesday the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police did an “incredible job.” He added, “How quickly the police department was able to get in was really very much of a miracle. They’ve done an amazing job.”
But after praising the police, Trump made clear a discussion on gun laws is coming:

So long as it’s Trump in the conversation and not his daughter or SIL.
That would be the end of my support for Trump. He’s waivered on some of the other issues, but this one and immigration are the deal breakers.

If the law against murder won’t stop you then nothing will.
That’s a bright red line for me. I had serious misgivings about Trump, but I voted for him largely in order to keep Hillary out of the White House to protect our right to keep and bear arms.
If he sells us out on this issue, forget about it.
All he has to say is that we have enough laws already, and there is no need for any new ones.
The question for me remains, “Is Trump the guy I THOUGHT he is?”, or “I s Trump the man that I HOPED that he is?”
We shall see.
Trump said the exact right thing to avoid the question and stop that whole line of questioning for the time. I don’t see him dong anything in this regard. At most he might support banning bump fire stocks if both houses of congress get behind it.

There’s nothing wrong and everything right about talking about gun laws and anything else.
No need for hysterics.
President Trump is, once again, not allowing the left and their narrative to control him.
How about abolishing gun-free zones? The day Congress makes a law to take away our guns is the day that open rebellion will begin.
