The Last Refuge ^ | 10-2-17 | Sundance

Posted on 10/02/2017 3:26:23 PM PDT by CincyRichieRich

The man who opened fire on an outdoor concert on the Las Vegas Strip late Sunday, killing at least 58 people and wounding 515 more before he was found dead in a 32nd floor hotel room, has been identified as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock of Mesquite, Nevada, the Clark County sheriff said at a news conference Monday.

♦64-Year-old “Ordinary Guy”

♦No violent criminal background.

♦Paddock was a licensed pilot, owned two airplanes and had no criminal history beyond a citation that was handled normally.

♦Lockheed Martin said in a statement that Paddock worked for a predecessor company of theirs for three years starting in 1985.

♦Prior Residences: California, Florida, Texas, Nevada (reported 27 residences).

♦Paddock lived in Mesquite, Texas, before moving to Mesquite, Nevada, about 82 miles northeast of Las Vegas

♦More than 10 rifles were found in the Mandalay Bay hotel room with Paddock.

♦During the time he owned a home in Melbourne Florida (2013-2015), just west of I-95 in Brevard County, Stephen Paddock bragged about going to The Philippines and Europe. (link)

Watch interview with one of Stephen Paddock’s brothers Eric Paddock of Orlando Florida:

Bruce Paddock (brother) told NBC News the family grew up in Sun Valley, California, and Stephen Paddock (shooter) earned money from managing apartment buildings with his Florida-based mother.

“There’s a Route 95 in Nevada that takes you between Las Vegas and Reno—a distance of 400+ miles, mostly over two lanes. I’ve taken the route several times. It’s not a drive that I look forward to.”

I just did it several weeks ago. You can see forever and there were scattered thunderclouds. It was beautiful.

Anything from the conservative tree house should be not be taken seriously.

What an odd thing to say.

CTH is one of the most reliably accurate sites I know of. They've earned high marks amongst Freepers and the wider conservative community.

Who knows? Maybe not. But it is reasonable to suspect this guy is an Islamic convert.

ISIS claims him as a convert and takes responsibility for the massacre. ISIS generally does not randomly and falsely claim complicity in attacks like these.

He may not be but I think in the light of 30 years of the same pattern of Islamic jihadist attacks, its is reasonable to presume he is until proven otherwise

Your co-worker would probably think different if they had a open porous border with central America!

Stephen Paddock bragged about going to The Philippines and Europe... And his so-called Asian (filipina?) girlfriend? Could be he was radicalized and “honeypot” recruited as an ISIS soldier?’
.......
Could be ...there was a pic of her in Dubai...

I've also taken the alternative route to the east--called the Extraterrestrial Highway because it runs close to Area 51.

This name calling lowlife seems to have a propensity for that word.

At least you’re in good company, pax....he/she/it also called Steve Bannon the same thing!!

What did he do for a living?

Paddock made millions in real estate. It's been covered in lots of articles today.

"He shot both .308 and 223 rounds."

very interesting if true, I actually thought I was hearing two automatic rifles of different calibers firing simultaneously when it was played on the radio and from news video a few minutes ago. Similarities to the Dallas police massacre : firing from above/perp kills self

what are the chances that mercenary soldiers carried out the attack and left Paddock behind as a prop-up patsy

motivation being to take guns out of the hands of US citizens, allowing easier takeover

That’s true, maybe “flipping” was much or all of his “investment” activity.... in which case he may have been willing to use his personal residences in this way if he did not mind moving so much. Still seems very strange, though. Most people like to put down some roots for a decade or two, at least, unless their career (military, business, etc.) absolutely requires that they move so much.

He was an accountant

Yes he was - in the 80s.

At some point, he began investing in real estate and wound up making a fortune.

Gun crimes here in Australia are quite rare, but slowly occurring more and more as they slip in from Asia. I’m out in the desolate west coast (by beautiful Perth), and we get about 1 or 2 a week in the state of about 3 million people.

As for Naturalman, I believe he lives in the crowded eastern states that had a holiday on Monday, so he may have been out of the area. Expect him to join in soon as Paddock’s girlfriend has also lived in the east.

People who have higher analytical skills discount the CTH as fake news.

Nichols was married to Marifa Torres.
Her whole family was Abu Sayef, aka Filipino Al Quaeda.
Nichols and McVey could not make the fertilizer bomb until he met with Ramsey Yousef in the Philippines.
Ramsey Yousef was a paid Iraqi agent.
McVey was having an affair with Nichols wife.

Thus both men were influenced by the same woman whose entire family is Philippino al-Quaeda

Australia reports assaults and rapes the way Germany and France report assaults and rapes.

Which is to say, if they are inconvenient they never happened.

One hundred percent of the people who think disarming the citizens is ever the answer are socialists.

Which explains Australia and nearly all of Europe.

“I want to know how he purchased or acquired automatic weapons.”

I read in a UK Mail article a statement that he weapons were modified. Normally I’d give you the link, but have been reading this crap non-stop today and don’t know exactly which link it is.

Buying fully automatic weapons is unbelievably expensive, not to mention the class III application and taxes per weapon...
