To be honest, I suspect he was never as pro-2nd Amendment as he claims.
I understand that feeling that’s surging through the guy, and I’m willing to temporize this sentiment.
First of all, infringing gun rights requires a constitutional amendment to do it properly.
Secondly, if we must have gun control, it should be a state power, not federal.
Thirdly, guns with clips [magazines] which allow such fast reloads, and if they are converted from semi-automatic, they overheat. Therefore, if there MUST be gun control, it is a severe overreach for this event to trigger limiting too much — one clip-loaded semi automatic rifle per citizen would not make this kind of mass murder very likely.
Fourthly, without secure borders, machineguns can be smuggled across th border. So, SAFE BORDERS FIRST. [Note tagline.]
