ISIS often claims responsibility for attacks without proof or evidence. It should be noted U.S. authorities have denied throughout the morning this was an act of terror. As the facts come in, things can change.

The suspect, who killed himself upon police arrival, is 64-year-old Stephen Paddock. He carried out the attack from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel. He was in the hotel for days, watching as innocent people came and went to the Route 91 Harvest Festival. Last night during Jason Aldean's closing song, he reigned down a barrage of bullets on 22,000 people after shooting out the windows in his room.

I’m thinking it’s not ISIS. There’s almost always some aspect of “transportation” involved in their attacks. Usually that means it’s a train station or the train or subway itself as a target. There are the jets of 9/11 of course. Lately trucks and cars are the weapon, plus some stabbing as Act Two.
The only Muslim attacks in the U.S. and Europe that come to mind immediately that do not have a transportation angle are the Minnesota stabber and the Boston Marathon. (I’m not counting “people running for fun” as “transportation” per se.)

I might be reaching here, but if I am interpreting the geometry correctly, he was not just on the correct side of the hotel, but in the wing closest to the concert itself, and in a room at the end of that wing.
They've said he was in the room since Sep 28, but they haven't said when the reservation was made. What if they're not telling us that somehow he snagged that reservation with little or no advance in a hotel that was sold out for months for that concert? That would say he had a friend on the inside, and that the authorities are working that angle pretty aggressively.

Folks, ISIS always wants to claim credit for any mass shootings or murders. It’s their shtick. Take this with a grain of salt.
She said she loved Dubai, visiting her niece, but it was too hot.
I haven’t seen my brother in almost a year and he lives about 40 blocks from me. And we are on excellent terms but our lives are just very separate. If I converted to islam in 2017, he would know nothing about it. Siblings are not necessary close.
And our government has every reason to hid an islamic attack. We’ll see.

OK, so he planned a Vegas suicide and wanted to go out in a blaze of glory. He had probably been losing his grip on reality. I'm just not seeing politics or religion behind this. Not yet, anyways.
I'm sure it would be easier if he was wearing his "I'm With Her" T-shirt and has a Facebook page full of TrumpRage but as of yet, this doesn't seem to be the case.

With the "girlfriend" holding Australian citizenship and the Melbourne ISIS group claiming that one of their comrades was involved, I'd say that it's possible that both scenarios were in play.

Seriously, the question seems to more accurately be "WHEN are muzzies allowed suicide?" Carried out as part of the same act that killed 50-odd infidels and injured ten times that number, his self-death does not strike me as substantially different than blowing up a bus full of Israelis with an explosive vest.
