NFL’s Oakland Raiders Threw Game After White QB Refused to Kneel for National Anthem
The Daily Defender ^ | Sep 30, 2017

A new report from The Armstrong and Getty Radio Show has sent shockwaves throughout the sports world after it was revealed that members of the NFL’s Oakland Raiders may have purposefully allowed their star quarterback to get sacked multiple times after he refused to kneel during the National Anthem.

If true, this would essentially mean that an NFL football game was illegally thrown over anger that one of the teams star white players did not believe that kneeling during the nations anthem was the correct way to protest supposed racial injustice in America.

In other words, an epic level scandal.

During the anthem, virtually the entire team was seen kneeling other than the teams coaches and star quarterback Derek Carr. Unfortunately, this may have not set well with the teams offensive line as they were apparently the players who spearheaded the entire idea to kneel as a team in the first.

“This is one hell of a scandal with the NFL, could ruin the whole league,” claimed the show before detailing the fact that Carr was sacked two times in a row on the teams second drive and that the teams usually dependable center snapped the ball at the wrong time in three different instances. Extremely capable receivers also made multiple “weird” drops of passes thrown by Carr that T.V. announcers even noted at the time.

The radio show then revealed bombshell “insider information” from an “extremely reliable” source who claimed that members of the Oakland Raiders did indeed throw the game as a sort of punishment for Carr choosing to not use the countries anthem to make a leftist political statement.

Not sure. Just going with my gut. Those who play the sport have always had one goal -— winning.

>>I will bet you the owner and the coaches know what happened, they have eyes, and they aren’t stupid. <<

Think they’ll go over the game film in practice on this one? Could be some awkward moments...

Sewing the wind would be a challenge. Sowing it, not so much.

"No lineman is going to risk losing post-season money over some political nonsense, or risk losing his starting job once he's spotted giving up on his block in film reviews. "

Really? You are ascribing rational thought to the protestors. They are steroid filled, angry, easily led, immature, and have never thought about politics. They have been coddled throughout their lives and paid millions to play a ball game. Do you believe they are thinking about where their paychecks come from? The owners have no idea how this ends, do you think the players have thought this out?

Remember Kapernick gave up his career for the cause. What was he thinking?

Bonus answer: he wasn't.

This week, Carr was again sacked many times, and eventually left the game with an injury.

Carr was sacked twice. Emanuel was sacked once.

Attributing Oakland's performance over the last two weeks to sinister motives does nothing except overlook the fact that Oakland is just not a very good team.

Sometimes an offense can implode without warning, like the Giants and Dolphins are experiencing right now.

I'm sure Jay Cutler would love to be able to have the Dolphins performance blamed on an protesting offensive line.

They looked OK when they were thrashing the Titans on the road, and doubling a Jets team that has since won two in an row.

I thought the effort shown against Denver looked normal. But, there was something VERY WRONG with the way they played against Washington. I saw it during the game... just didn’t know what the deal was. I honestly wondered if they’d been drugged. Looked like the Hangover gang out there.

All of these teams will underperform because team unity is gone and it will not come back this year. Well stated!

Armstrong and Getty is one of the very few AM conservative talk shows still available in the San Francisco Bay Area.

What about KSFO and KSCO? Do Armstrong & Getty advertise themselves as conservative?

KSFO is headed by someone who calls himself conservative; Brian Sussman. I recall Sussman when Lee Rodgers was main host. When Lee was fired (for the last time) and Sussman was put in his place, I never felt so down and disgusted.
Sussman does the job, but has a very annoying delivery style. Tired Beavis & Butthead style jokes.

Brian was originally a meteorologist, and can talk about Global Warming until the cows come home. He’s a non-believer in Man Made G.W. My mornings improved greatly when I accepted that Brian was not going to change to my liking, and just turn away to a different radio station.
I have divorced myself from that station as it now exists.
KSCO, I know nothing about.

What did Lee Rodgers do to get fired? I haven’t heard that morning show in many years. What happened to Melanie. You don’t like Sussman because he doesn’t believe in Climate change?

I met Sussman one. He seems like a nice guy. I'm not sure I found his radio show compelling.

Armstong and Getty can be entertaining. But I'm not sure they bill the show as conservative.

As you probably know, Lee Rodgers died some four or five years ago. He was probably fired (that time) for making blunt statements about Radical Islam.
Melanie has retired from radio, as far as I know.
She worked with Brian for a while, but their styles did not match at all.

I’m fine with Brian not believing much in Man Made Global Warming. I feel the same way. He just had a tendency to preach about it. Brian is a numbers cruncher and can go on for quite a while.
Cumulus has successfully killed off most of the local terrestrial radio in the San Fran area.
I still miss hearing Rabbi Lapin and Barbara Simpson on Sunday Morning.
