Florida Sheriff’s Office Will not Escort Miami Dolphins Until They Stand for National Anthem

The Miami Dolphins are also part of the unpatriotic movement started by Colin Kaepernick that involves refusing to stand at attention for the national anthem. However, they are all starting to feel the consequences of their actions, with the Florida sheriffs office announcing that they will not be escorting the Dolphins to their games unless they stop with the disrespectful behavior. The local Miami police union supported the decision of the Broward County Sheriff’s Office and will not be doing any escorting either, reports The Sports Hall.

President of the International Union of Police Associations, Jeffrey Bell said, “I respect their right to have freedom of speech. However, in certain organizations and certain jobs you give up that right of your freedom of speech temporary while you serve that job or while you play in an NFL game.”

After four of their players protested the national anthem, the Dolphins organization released a statement in which they mentioned that while they encourage all players to stand it is not mandatory and is personal choice:

“We encourage all members of our organization to stand at attention during the national anthem out of respect and appreciation for the freedoms we are afforded as Americans. We also recognize that it’s an individual’s right to reflect during the anthem in different ways. We respect these liberties and appreciate the sacrifices that everyone has made for our country, especially on this day of remembrance. We hope today’s events will continue a respectful and thoughtful dialogue in our community on unity, inclusiveness and togetherness.”

The police association is well within their rights, and yet the liberals criticize their decision while at the same time they are praising the athletes for exercising their freedom of speech. If they advocate for freedom of speech and freedom of expression, that freedom has to extend to everyone.

The reality is, other than these athletes getting their fifteen minutes of fame, nothing productive is coming of their protests.

NFL profits GONE because of this absolute garbage:

“But we’ve got to come together and talk about these things and grow as a community, as a connected group of individuals in our society, and we’re going to continue to show love and unity, and this week we’re going to ask the fans to join in as well and come together and show people that we can be connected and we can grow together.” — Aaron Rodgers

“If you kneel because you hate the United States of America, then you are ok. I bet if a player kneeled during the National Anthem in prayer for the unborn who have been slaughtered by the millions, then he might be fined.”

When players have worn things (decals, etc.) in support of the police, or in memory of 9/11, they have been forbidden to do that. But this kneeling thing, and wearing socks showing cops as pigs — perfectly fine.

Basically, the NFL has allowed players and teams to break their own rules, and now they are acting surprised that anyone minds, despite the rules themselves stating they expect to be judged according to their actions.

The players’ statements now are contrary to the rules, and the NFL doesn’t care.

IT has never been a free speech issue.

The players are employees, on company time.

The owners have every right to determine appropriate workplace behavior.

And players that “speak out” for a lie that encourages violence against police officers deserve nothing.

I look at the 72% of blacks in the NFL and I realize that Jimmy the Greek was right all those years ago.

...”Let the spoiled millionaires pay for their own security and security escorts. There’s no reason for the police to provide security to a private function and every reason not to provide it to BLM supporters who want them dead.”...

It is way past time for our officers to stop putting their lives in jeopardy for people who are hateful and unappreciative for all that is sacrificed to keep them safe. Let the counter-culture pay for it out of their own pockets. The majority of taxpayers do not want their police wasting their time on this kind of thing and we sure as heck do not want our money going to pay for it.

That can’t be said enough. We have an opportunity to create an impactful protest, win a soft Civil War battle, all by simply not watching. We are being handed a gift here.

And I’ve been watching football since a small child. It’s sucks, but it’s not going to be difficult at all. Shut it off.

Well, if we’re talking duty/contractual obligation, last I knew official NFL policy dictates that players be on the field for the anthem, stand at attention with the helmet tucked under one arm. Has that policy changed? If so, when, why, and by whom? If not, what’s with the personal choice cr@p??

Haven’t heard this in the local Miami media (not surprising, since the “journalists” in Miami are MOSTLY anti-conservative). But if true, would be amazing, since the Broward chief law enforcement officer is a flaming liberal Demon Rat, good friends with Debbie Blabbermouth.

That may explain why he’s not named (but should) in this report.

That NFL decision gave conservatives a rare opportunity to take a whack at Black Lives Matter and the manipulations of Obama’s collusion with the media Instead pundits are letting the media divert that direction to “cum bye ja” and a dozen other directions. Because it diverts the focus
away from media complicity.

The problem here is not connecting the dots to the democrats who created racial divisuon when Obama through the abuse of his office and the “Bully Pulpit” began creating “victims” out of blacks engaged in criminal activities who were not just resisting legal arrest but responding by attacking legal authority and endangering their lives .

Until this get exposed along with its political purposes which was creating racial division and a impeachable proof barrier as the continung political discourse which has been expanded to include “white guilt” will continue.

When blame the cops for cold blooded killings started by Obama’s it was through his use of the Bully Pulpit. It began with his comments during the Zimmerman trial. Those inspired at least 10* deadly assaults ending in death of any non black who wandered near or in “hoods” controlled by members cf black ganags. One such noteable case is that of Christopher Lane an Australian murdered by Crypts while visiting Duncan Oklahoma.*(At the time the media avoided any reference made to “For Trayvon” reason given in those murders by the culprits mainly gang members. Of the I think the figure (10)is more like 20 racially inspired murders)

Obama was never held accountable for his inflamatory remarks. And because he wasn’t he contunued hammering away creating a wider racial division targeting police authority which resulted in cops being targeted and murdered in cold blood.

IF THIS IS BROUGHT OUT WHEN THE NFL ACTION GETS DISCUSSED. WATCH HOW FAST THIS GETS SHUT DOWN..

You might be but most people are just holding a FAKE protest because it is a "look at me thing" and will be right back swilling beer and tailgating when they get the chance.

Americans have short memories.

Why do these multi millionaires get an escort paid by us in the first place?

I was wondering the same. Cannot these uber-rich dumba$$es find their own way to the ball park? Where are they 'escorted' FROM, that they need a police 'escort'?... or any 'escort'?

“There’s no reason for the police to provide security to a private function and every reason not to provide it to BLM supporters who want them dead.”.......

There are private enterprises that offer such services. Should you prefer to watch football (I do NOT) you will see people with brightly colored jackets with logos or “security” clearly shown, such as “CSC” or something similar. These are the security companies those street rat, high paid felons should be PAYING for versus local police and sheriffs, paid for by the public, who are on “OT” or special duty assignments. Needs to stop all together.

Yet in other posts, I have read passages from the rules book that state unambiguously that the players ARE required to stand at attention with their helmets in their left hands. Which is it???

Doesn't matter to me either way because I refuse to watch and have not watched a bunch of over paid black drug using thugs working for K Street in over 10-12 years and nothing that happens here will change that.

You probably read that put these owners who have to coddle these black thugs will not enforce it fearing that these childish black thugs will lay down on them during the next game and lose them millions.

So do not lose sleep over it and do not ever watch it again because when this all blows over and the stadiums are full again with adoring fans most of America will forget that this ever happened......idiots
