The Senate can't repeal any aspect of ObamaCare but no problem shoving tens of billions to prop up the insurance companies. ObamaCare Now and Forever!!!

This is why the talk of letting ObamaCare collapse was wishful thinking.

I’m not sure why so many people thought Congress would just let Obamacare implode. They are going to keep throwing money at it to “stabilize” it.

bipartisan = every Rat,McLame and Collins.
To: C19fan
It sounds like a funding bill; one that cannot originate in the Senate.

That, and the exchanges were only part of what the ACA did.

The exchanges are pulling out because they are losing millions. “Shoring” them up is giving a permanent fiscal IV to something that needs to die.

“a bipartisan deal to shore up the health insurance exchanges created under Obamacare”
Yeah, spending billions more propping up this CommieCare disaster would be a brilliant use of taxpayer money.
In before the “at least it would be getting something done” crowd.

If not repealed, I vote straight D in 2018.

The RATS just figured out NOW is the best deal they are going to get.
All because of Judge Moore (and McCain sun setting)

Lamar Alexander (R-TN) and Patty Murray (D-WA):
The pact could buoy health insurance companies, which came out forcefully against the Republican repeal effort and have faced uncertainty since the November election of Republican President Donald Trump, who vowed to sink the law.
Now let's concentrate on insurance industry contributions to these two traitors.
Sounds to me like the Senate is trying to spend money, something it can't do. The Constitution is very explicit: spending bills must originate in the House.

This happens all the time. They can submit this to the house. The house eventually puts a number on a bill and presents their bill.....which may be the exact same thing.

Let the chips fall where they may. Think of it as letting your teenager spend the night in jail, even though it may cost you dearly.

And the sad part: I’ve not voted for a democrat since 1972, when I voted for Dixie Lee Ray.

The good news is that Trump will finally get to sign a healthcare bill, which is really all he wants to do.

my uninformed impression has been that the House is not amenable to this kind of nonsense. I may easily be missing something...
