IRS Believes Mueller Investigation is Out of Control – They Refused to Participate in Manafort Raid

SHUT IT DOWN

The Mueller investigation is so out of control that the IRS clashed with the Special Counsel’s team all summer over the broad scope and the Manafort raid according to a new report by CNN.

The IRS is now sharing information with Mueller’s team about Trump campaign associates. Mueller’s team is looking at everything tax related which includes real estate and banking. The IRS is concerned because Mueller is going back 11 years in his search. ELEVEN YEARS.

After being at odds for months, the two camps came to an agreement after consultation from officials at the Treasury Department.

Via CNN:

Part of the concern centered on the far-reaching and broad requests from Mueller’s team. In the case of Manafort, Mueller’s investigators are reaching back 11 years as they investigate possible tax and financial crimes, according to search warrant documents. Mueller is bound by a written order issued by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein in May which allows the special counsel to investigate “any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation.”

After several months of being at odds, one source said, the IRS Criminal Investigation division is now sharing information about campaign associates, including Manafort and former White House national security adviser Michael Flynn. The sharing happened after the two camps reached an agreement following consultation with officials at the Treasury Department.

The IRS did not participate in the Manafort raid over the summer; the raid was carried out only by FBI agents. This is highly unusual since this particular probe centers around financial issues.

I understand. I was just making a general comment about the ‘swamp’. I don’t think they get it, even now. They keep trying to put the genie back in the bottle, but it’s too late. It’s unclear where everything is headed, but the political landscape has changed, and is not going back to the time when the ‘swamp’ went unchallenged. If they try to abrogate the voices of the people now, my bet is that they will be absolutely shocked by the response.

You must be right. Mueller dares Trump to stop him and if Trump does then the trap is sprung.

That Rosenstein ought to be the one to do it.

Wayyy beyond dirty.

I can’t believe the GOP hasn’t attacked Mueller for his role giving cover to Whitey Bulger and his brother Massachusetts Senate President Billy “The Corrupt Midget” Bulger.
Whitey’s Winter Hill Gang and the FBI together were the No. 1 crime family. Dozens died and mucho dinero disappeared into their pockets.

My main concern at this point would be that he might file charges against Don Jr, for some bi-product of a testimony trap.

Trump and his team aren’t trying to pull a fast one, and in comparison to what Clinton has gotten away with, we really do know what fast ones are.

The least Sessions could do is issue a preservation order to Mueller and require every bit of information from the task force to be preserved for main Justice. Tips, informant and witness ID’s, good information, dry holes, recordings of internal meetings, discussions and strategies. The identities of all who received a paycheck, their hourly pay, their respective roles and their specific input. I want all the legwork of this star chamber to be a discoverable encyclopedia. Specific information of the targets, of course would be excluded from inspection.

Mueller and Comey need to be held to account.

I predict Mueller plays out enough rope to hang himself fifty times, and that’s what will happen.

I think they should go back to when Manafort was in grade school. Just to make sure everything is on the up and up. He could have been a Russian fanatic as a small child and wore cossack hats for all we know.

The President (Trump )ought to send evidence to Mueller concerning criminal activity going way back.

There was the time with suzie rotten crotch when he was a teen, behind he stadium, .

One time he actually flicked a cig out the window.

Oh, and the time he put matches between the toes of the guests at the dinner table, when he was three.

Could probably just send cartoons of the katzenjammer twins and be done with it.

Then Mueller would likely draw up charges based on the cartoons.

I used to think the desperation reeked, now I think it is a fragrent smell, pleasing to the senses in the am.

Rich aroma, wonderful bouquet.

Then again, maybe it is the smell of them stewing in their own juices.

In all seriousness, Mueller hasn't got shit, and he knows it, as do the rest of the swamp.

This was supposed to be an investigation of the Russian connection last year. Him going back 11 years reveals it to be the fraud it is.

Further, he seems to only be hiring Clinton or Leftist cronies.

I think he’s trying to find some other criminality in Trump’s past. He wants to find evidence of an organized crime link or some such.

Sessions’ recusel was a monumental screw-up.

Better than firing him, start an investigation into him, going back 15 years.

Ostensibly, yes, however, we both know what this was, a fishing expedition to find hanging offense dirt, because they themselves are guilty as sin, and assume anyone in Mr. Trump's position must also be dirty.

They are wrong.

Further, he seems to only be hiring Clinton or Leftist cronies.

Well, yeah, that is what they do when being nefarious.

I think he’s trying to find some other criminality in Trump’s past. He wants to find evidence of an organized crime link or some such.

Something, anything, they "know" he is dirty, as they all are, one simply needs to find the dirt......except he isn't. Never was. He is the real deal, and they will never appreciate that fact.

Sessions’ recusel was a monumental screw-up.

Sessions was given way too much credit, because of his early endorsement, did not translate into smarts or bull dog tenacity.

Coming from 'bama, he was given a slide. However, either he is really plotting behind the lines, or he is simply a doofus , and needs to be purged.

I really don't know which, but my gut says jettison him, and my gut is more right than wrong for my entire life.

When Trump was 5 years old he stole a cookie. Is that impeachable?

What is the statute of limitations on tax matters?

What do tax returns for Manafort 11 years ago, have to do with alleged Russian involvement with the 2016 election?

Once again, what crime are they investigating?

Who decides when they stop?

If fraud is present, no statute of limitation. If no fraud 3 years unless more than 25% income omission, then 6 years.
