Back in the early 90s, some do-gooders in the Chicago area fronted money to bus hoodrats up from Chicago’s south side for a day at that same Great America park. There were many problems with those thugs then and it sounds like it’s happening still.

Gurnee police officials told the newspaper the attack happened “after members of the larger group apparently cut in line and were using foul language when the family exchanged words with them.” You have to be sensitive about confronting underserved youths about misbehavior, they might feel disrespected and lash out.
