The six flags in LA (Santa Clarita) had a reputation for many years. They did little to control the mobs of gangbangers. I hear that security has improved in recent years.

I was at Magic Mountain with my husband and stepdaughter years ago... we noticed an unusually strong police presence starting around 5pm. We asked what was up and the officer told us this is when the gang start showing up.
Time to leave.
