Why (Rino) Bob Corker’s retirement could shake up the Senate

Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN) announced Tuesday that he will not run for another term in 2018, setting up an open contest for his seat in next year’s midterms.

The announcement is big news. Corker chairs the powerful Senate Foreign Relations Committee and is known as an independent, pragmatic, and policy-minded voice in the Senate GOP. So his exit will have ramifications in the chamber — for one, he won’t have to worry about reelection as he casts his votes over the next 15 months.

His decision is also the retirement of a leading Republican who’s criticized President Donald Trump — Corker said in August that Trump hadn’t demonstrated “the stability nor some of the competence that he needs to demonstrate in order to be successful.” (Trump responded with a sharp tweet declaring that Tennessee was “not happy” with Corker.)

“Don’t forget Thom Tillis”

Can you believe it? And Tillis has only been in office 2 years and think about the amount of money that was poured into his campaign to unseat Democrat Kay Hagan! There was just a Nnorth Carolina caller to Breitbart Daily Show who was vociferously denouncing Tillis and how he has been a total bait and switch, she also named Dallas Woodhouse and the Republican Establishment that runs the GOP in North Carolina as a huge part of the problem. Unfortunately, the Republican Women’s Clubs in N.C. are all close with Tillis’ wife, so nothing criticizing Tillis is permitted anywhere around Mecklenburg County (Charlotte).

The caller also stated that neither Tillis nor Richard Burr’s offices will have a staffer speak with constituents when they call Capitol Hill offices. They simply send them to voicemail to leave a message. This is because North Carolina voters are so mad at them and they don’t want to hear it!

Nevada is turning blue because of open borders, same as CA.
Texas is next.
If we don’t stop it, we will never elect another American President.

Knox county mayor Tim Burchett would be a better choice than Manning. I would even take Marsha Blackburn as a possible replacement.

Tennessee must be wary of Bill Haslam, he is a full blown Corkhole, Limp Wrist Lamar, Howard Baker liberal! He is anti-second amendment and a tax and spend Republican.

Back in the 1950s there was a popular song whose lyrics included:

"My gal's a Corker,
She's a New Yorker,
I buy her everything to keep her in style."

Is Bob Corker any relation?

“New Hampshire? Do you think he’s considering the “big prize?”

He is a US Senator so, yes, he is considering it.

As a Senator he feels entitled to the job. They all feel that way. Every one of them.

Don’t ask me why, but they all feel that way.

A couple morons (Ron Klain is one), are suggesting, apparently seriously, that Al Gore should run.

Would make the demolition of Evan Bayh look like a little girl's tea party.
