I can’t speak for others, but, personally, I would seek out places that aren’t showing NFL games. I would give them my business. I would prefer to go to such places. I would increase their business by giving them my patronage.

No it isn’t. Sonny’s BBQ,a chain of rib joints around west central FL has a promo offering tickets to see the Bucs at Green Bay when they play the Packers on December 2. According to their FB page their regular customers are PO’ed to say the least.

Baseball comes back as Americas game, cut the commercials in half, take away the replay unless on the big screen it is obvious and the head umpire can make the call, and get rid of the DH
My company always has a football tailgate lunch during the thug ball season. When I worked in the office, I refused just on general principles to wear a football jersey simply because I’m not a football fan. I did wear a NASCAR shirt once just to be a jerk.
I’m such a non-fan I won the company club level tickets to a game last year and gave them to a buddy of mine. (Baltimore Ravens)
If I was there this year, I think I would skip out completely and go out to lunch.

Oakland, they asked the SF ex coach Tim Flannery his reaction, he said well what do you expect with our President, I broke the remote and batteries went flying when I through it at the tv and hit the wall. I guess old Tim is too dim to recall this started on Obama the water walkers shift.

If they haven’t picked a replacement yet, I’d recommend the 1980 Olympic hockey final.
I’d happily rewatch some super bowls (or other games) from the 70s.
Or show Tonya Harding skating. We can all agree to hate her, but she took action on someone else’s knee to get what she wanted rather than taking a knee and leaving everyone confused about where her passion was. And had a bigger goal than pissing people off. And SHE FAILED.
They probably have many TVs and so many ways they can go on different screens: Cops. To Catch a Predator. Rug Rats. The Little Rascals. The Three Stooges. Marx Brothers, Mel Brooks, Monty Python. Various versions of the national anthem (not Roseanne Barr).
Or better yet, sing the Star Spangled Banner throughout the game. Freedom of speech, y’all.
