As the Cardinals were introduced, Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones, as well as executive vice presidents Stephen Jones, Charlotte Anderson and Jerry Jones Jr., stood locked arm in arm with the players, coaches and staff.
Before a giant American flag was unfurled that covered almost the entire field, the Cowboys took a knee briefly as a group, including Jerry Jones, which led to a smattering of boos from the crowd that included a large number of Dallas fans.
During the national anthem, the Cowboys stood locked arm in arm but nobody took a knee or appeared to have any sign of silent protest.

What does any of this have to do with the Constitution?
...and then they requested that everyone in the stands do the same thing.
America knows no king but the King in the North, and his name is Trump.

“If anyone would have protested the Kenyan usurper they would have been summarily fired”.

Yep. The NFL died tonight. Interesting to watch, but I can't honestly say that I'm sorry.
Shameful to America. They are only thinking selfishly of themselves.
Bookmarked THANKS!!
That’s all fine but people don’t purchase pro ball tickets that run into the thousands for these in-your-face statements and stunts just before the coin toss.
They couldn’t take me to an NFL game in a complementary fully stocked limousine with tickets in the box. Not interested in their politics. I never got that kind of political platform at work. Eff them.
ROFL... I taught Criminal Justice and Intro is all about how our laws came about, the Constitution etc! Please read the Constitution and take time with wording, so you understand it too.
Quote
“The First Amendment to the United States Constitution prohibits the making of any law respecting an establishment of religion, ensuring that there is no prohibition on the free exercise of religion, abridging the freedom of speech, infringing on the freedom of the press, interfering with the right to peaceably assemble, or prohibiting the petitioning for a governmental redress of grievances. It was adopted on December 15, 1791, as one of the ten amendments that constitute the Bill of Rights.”
When an act like ‘#TakeTheKnee’ becomes a protest, if done peacefully, then it becomes something our government needs to address, it does not matter if they are wrong. I think Trump is handling it correctly.
Vietnam had terrible protests...and that became directed at our soldiers, who were mostly drafted! That was wrong. You can be dead right, and dead wrong at the same time!
HOWEVER doing it during the National Anthem is NOT acceptable!
A damn good question, FRiend. Because nobody was kneeling at the Democrat National Convention in Philadelphia last year.
Evidently you don’t know??? How can you comment if you don’t even know what it is about?

FR is not a democratic, left, lunatic forum! Most people here support the Constitution!
@NFL has destroyed themselves, the whole issue w my comment has to do with JONES & Cowboys!
And I will not lock arms and will tell Jerry Jones and the Cowboys and the entire NFL to kiss my ass running. I will not watch you again. I don’t even care if you try to make amends. You had the right choice staring you in the face and you could not muster the moral courage to take that path. F you.
