GOP Rep. Louie Gohmert on Monday urged Arizona to "recall" Sen. John McCain amid his recent brain cancer diagnosis, while criticizing his Republican colleague for going back on his 2016 campaign vow to repeal ObamaCare.
“[McCain] is one of those that said I will repeal—if he had said last year what he was going to do,” he would have lost, Gohmert, R-Texas, said on “Fox & Friends” early Monday.
“Nothing inhibits recovery from cancer like stress. I think Arizona could help him, and us. Recall him, let him fight successfully this terrible cancer, and let’s get someone in here who will keep the word he gave last year.”

There is no mechanism to recall a Senator. The most that can be done is a referendum to request him to withdraw which the treasonous POS will not do.

It is embarrassing to see a Representative who does not know what the Constitution says. There is NO “recall” and never was. There are two ways to change Congressmen: quit and expulsion by the relevant House - which rarely happens - once in my lifetime.

Calling for recall when you know you can’t is like voting for repeal and replace when you know it will be vetoed
Does anyone from Arizona know if the Governor can recall him??? I really would like to know, I have heard both he can and can’t...surely someone can do something!!!
McCain showed his honor when he was POW in Hanoi.
Since his return, he has displayed dishonor. I agree, the “Keating 5” was the time I lost most of the respect I had for the bumbling fool. He was a weak pilot, there because of his ancestors, and has cost the USA a huge dollar amount in aircraft. I no longer like the man.
Arizona has a recall law. Voters can petition for a recall election for state and local officials.
But state recall laws haven't been applied to federal officials. So far, courts have rejected attempts to have recall elections of senators and representatives.
Thank you for that information...what a shame we can’t recall some of these people; RINO RYAN and MCCONNELL need to be in the same boat!!!
