Rush’s show went downhill when he got rid of the comedy...to many ads... like the NFL

I do partially agree with you there, although I don't think it's anywhere near completely "downhill". Yet.

Like just about all talk radio shows now, there are unfortunately far too many ads. Yes, Rush doesn't have much of the great comedy and parodies that really helped make his show great anymore.

And - although the NFL players taking a knee during our National Anthem story is a valid news story that Rush *should* be talking about - I still say Rush spends way too much time talking about football, Apple products, and golf. (The latter to a lesser extent.) Then at the end of his show, he fumes: "Darn, I didn't get to everything in my Stack of Stuff today! Ran out of time..."

However, often his commentary is still brilliant. I still tune in every day.

He didn’t excuse anyone except he tried to explain the Kneeler’s head coach’s decision to keep the Kneeler’s in the locker room during the anthem.

In the end Rush said that the NFL, the players, the Media are killing the golden goose.

I'm always the Complainer in Chief re: Rush droning on and on about the NFL, but I will say that this 'taking a knee' thing is a valid news story. I fully expect Rush to comment on it.

However.... I *really* hope Rush doesn't go on and on about the NFL during every show this week. There are many other news stories out there.

After a whole weekend of wall-to-wall NFL nonsense, I’d just as soon we ignore it and hope it just goes away.
