I do partially agree with you there, although I don't think it's anywhere near completely "downhill". Yet.
Like just about all talk radio shows now, there are unfortunately far too many ads. Yes, Rush doesn't have much of the great comedy and parodies that really helped make his show great anymore.
And - although the NFL players taking a knee during our National Anthem story is a valid news story that Rush *should* be talking about - I still say Rush spends way too much time talking about football, Apple products, and golf. (The latter to a lesser extent.) Then at the end of his show, he fumes: "Darn, I didn't get to everything in my Stack of Stuff today! Ran out of time..."
However, often his commentary is still brilliant. I still tune in every day.
It has been a long time since he presented a fourth hour for subscribers.
