WASHINGTON (AP) - U.S. Sen. John McCain says doctors have given him a "very poor prognosis" as he battles brain cancer.
McCain underwent surgery in July for a brain tumor that was later found to be a form of glioblastoma, the same type of cancer that took the life of his former Senate colleague Edward M. Kennedy in 2009. McCain tells CBS' "60 Minutes" in an interview that aired Sunday night that he thinks about Kennedy a lot. He says Kennedy continued to work despite the diagnosis and "never gave up because he loved the engagement."

This is all a show, and it’s purpose is to take everything from us and give it to them.

Good riddance indeed. Though I cringe to think of the media fawning and canonizing that will go on.... gawd. And his loudmouth, airhead daughter will probably have her “celebrity career” set in stone the rest of her life, her name forever followed by “... daughter of the late, great Maverick of the Senate, John McCain.”

True. McCain has been a democrat for years - I don’t know why he wasn’t tossed from the Republican party. I think pretending to be a Republican and acting like a dem is his ticket to media attention and praise from the dems. He lives to be the so-called “maverick” and loves the attention it gets him.
It’s not engagement he craves, it’s power.
But at least brain cancer won’t affect his performance, it’s not like he has used it recently.
Do Senators who are power-first users have actual close frieds? I wonder about his family as well. He has lived most of his Senatorial life in DC, not in Arizona where his family has always lived.
I lost a sibling to this horrible disease and don't wish it on anyone, not even on such a nasty person as McCain.

Songbird McCain is such a nasty narcissist that he probably believes the LORD needs to get right with him.
I take no joy in saying that but I believe it true in his case.
