FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady directly addressed remarks by President Donald Trump on Monday morning, saying, "I certainly disagree with what he said. I thought it was just divisive." WEEI's "Kirk and Callahan" program, was different from how he handled a similar query after the team's 36-33 victory over the Houston Texans on Sunday. At that time, Brady said he didn't want to get into politics while speaking of the love he has for his teammates.
During his radio interview Monday, Brady was asked if he thought Trump had bigger things to worry about than whether a player kneels during the national anthem. After saying he disagreed with Trump's remarks, Brady added, "I just want to support my teammates

Brady declined to go the the WH with the rest of the Patriots. He had some excuse for not attending. Brady has backed off support from Trump ever since they found a MAGA cap in his locker.
Brady is in a league where more than 70% of the employees are black. Brady has demonstrated he lacks moral courage by going along to get along. He is a great football player and a lousy friend and human being. I lost my awe and idolization of sports figures a long time ago as a child. Many are frauds and have feet of clay. Brady is not one of our own. He is one of them, i.e., the politically correct.

I don’t recall Trump speaking specifically about the Patriots or Brady...(he was speaking generally about the NFL at large)it was Brady that opened up his big fat mouth this morning. Trump never attacked anyone at the Patriots organization specifically...so just can it with “friend of my friend” crap.
They are only screaming because they know that 63 million people voted for Trump and that is a lot of viewers lost if only a tenth of them shut down the NFL out of their homes. Brady should have shut it and waited for things to cool off; it would have you know! Now Brady just made the NFL become more of a pariah!

I don’t think that’s quite right. There’s nothing in the rulebook about the anthem. I looked in it after another Freeper said it was not true or “fake.” It’s online.
