FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady directly addressed remarks by President Donald Trump on Monday morning, saying, "I certainly disagree with what he said. I thought it was just divisive." WEEI's "Kirk and Callahan" program, was different from how he handled a similar query after the team's 36-33 victory over the Houston Texans on Sunday. At that time, Brady said he didn't want to get into politics while speaking of the love he has for his teammates.
During his radio interview Monday, Brady was asked if he thought Trump had bigger things to worry about than whether a player kneels during the national anthem. After saying he disagreed with Trump's remarks, Brady added, "I just want to support my teammates

Sorry Bro, I didn’t know you owned a pair.
Brady has taken too many blows to his head. His brain is a bit soft.
Disrespecting our nations flag and national anthem is divisive.
The NFL is over, they just dont know it yet.
I guess the “Patriots” will have to change their name now.
I think you missed a step. Trump told the NFL to stop disrespecting the Flag, the country and our veterans. Kraft sided with his employees over the Flag, country and veterans. He allowed his employees to disrespect. In the NFL player behavior is governed very tightly during games. Fines and penalties for excessive celebrations. Trump was right in calling out the NFL. The backstabber is Kraft.
I watched the game in London yesterday via Yahoo. All of the players stood respectfully for the playing of “God Save the Queen.” But when the US national anthem was played on foreign soil, a number of the US players knelt in disrespect to the flag and anthem. What kind of message does that send to the non-US fans in attendance? Is the oppression of blacks in the US a reality or a myth?
“You will be the last fan standing, while they kneel.”
I’m a Patriots fan, always have been, always will be.
And if Trump hadn’t said anything then he could be accused of kowtowing to corporate interests by not supporting our flag and country(in light of that million dollar political donation)....lets see...NFL vs calling out insults to our nation and flag...I’ll go with the latter and you can just go dry up and blow away you little troll!
” How informed are Brady’s political views? What are they? “
Bardy’s been right there with Trump since the beginning, but go ahead and eat your own, like everybody else on this site.
“I think you missed a step.”
I didn’t miss a thing...Trump stabbed his friends in the back, plain and simple.
New England Pussyhats will be their new name
Whatsa matter? Afraid the NFL will spiral down and your Patriots will go with them? What does that have to do with maintaining the dignity and honor of our nation?
“Ill go with the latter and you can just go dry up and blow away you little troll!”
I’m not a troll..been here for years. And if you want to get into a **ssing contest, I can go there too...
Trump stabbed them in the back. Get over your man love for the guy and look at it with open eyes.
Indeed. And I think we know who wears the pants in that family.
He wouldn’t go to the White House either.
“What does that have to do with maintaining the dignity and honor of our nation?”
Another keyboard patriot, saving the country in his pajamas:)
They can mock Tim Tebow for kneeling in prayer and demand that he stop, yet we need to watch private employees of a country, who make millions of dollars spit on our flag and force us to watch.
Can I draw a picture of Muhammed and then stamp on it during halftime? Do you think the NFL is ok with that.
All selective hypocritical outrage.
Kraft stabbed the POTUS, veterans and the country in the back.
Your tongue is so far up pretty boy Brady’s butt, it qualifies as a French kiss.
I thought the President called for a boycott of those who refused to discipline those who showed disrespect for the nation. Isn’t that different from a blanket boycott?
