NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” analyst Cris Collinsworth called on President Donald Trump to apologize for calling players protesting the national anthem “SOBs.”
“I would say he should apologize,” Collinsworth stated Sunday. “They’re not SOBs. They’re smart, thoughtful guys. They really are.”

Collinsworth is the same dolt who gave an interview with Dan Patrick in which he extolled his attraction to high school girls in the age range of 14 - 18. I don’t need to hear from him with his critique on anything.

Season ticket holders have had years to cancel their seats. The NFL attitude has been around for a while. The current NFL attitude might just push the season ticket holders off the edge and force them to cancel their seats.
Soon the NFL will become like our Federal Government. The owners will buy the season tickets and give them as benefits to the welfare queens and kings.

... because often, unfortunately, there are no consequences. They are insulated by several levels of protection the most significant of these being the left-wing media.
I believe that most if not all of the left’s dialog would disappear if they had to say it to someone’s face instead of hiding behind a keyboard. It is easy to be brave when no one knows who you are.
If they are so smart, thoughtful and they think there are big issues they have money, and access to more money. They also have a name and know people that would help them get attention to the problem. Why aren't they working toward solving the problems that bother them so much? Instead they are throwing a tantrum when they should be focused on their job.
They could do good things with their access to money and people, things that would bring about real changes. As it is they are bringing down professional football and nothing they are doing is going to change anything other than how people see them and professional football.
Oh look, the dems new talking point. Trump should apologize for____.(fill in the blank)

He actually did not say it. He asked if folks would like to see the owners respond to the protests and the owners were saying it as they fired the protesters.
He appealed to the emotions of his audience and they wholeheartedly agreed.
The loser players are feeling self-loathing because they selfishly make in one season more than their “brothers” make in several lifetimes. Yet they don’t “share the wealth”. In a sense, they hate their “brothers”. They are pampered princes who are self-loathing...and losers.
Al Michaels would never say that or support these leftwing anti-American communists.
Exactly. Even among NFL players, the kneelers are a tiny minority. The media can read a thousand different anti-Trump statements from various owners, players, and fans...but it won’t change the fact that the vast majority of Americans are disgusted by the disrespect towards the flag.
