Jared Kushner Used Personal eMail to Communicate With White House Officials

White House adviser and President Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner has used a private email account to communicate with White House staffers, his attorney confirmed to ABC News.

"Mr. Kushner uses his White House email address to conduct White House business. Fewer than a hundred emails from January through August were either sent to or returned by Mr. Kushner to colleagues in the White House from his personal email account," Kushner attorney Abbe Lowell said in a statement.

Lowell said the emails were "usually forwarded news articles or political commentary" and "most often occurred" when someone "initiated the exchange by sending an email to his personal" account.

Yes, agreed. I have a real problem with laws applying to some, but not to others.

If that’s how they want to run things, then, as far as I am concerned, laws apply to no one.

This Kushner character is no friend of Conservatism and he should be no friend of any of us here on FR. IF we are loyal and true to our political principles and are un-co-optable.

As for me, I hope this snags Kushner and the result is that he is forced out of the White House power circle and replaced by one of our conservative/constitutionalist allies.

Folks, not just you but a number of others too have been obsessed with this.

Trump has now over-ruled Kushner and Ivanka a number of times. Trump is president. Kushner isn’t. Ivanka isn’t.

Each issue comes up. We have folks flock to the forum to explain how Ivanka or Kushner are going to pull Trump off track. Trump implements his own policy, and his daughter and son-in-law it turns out, didn’t impact anything.

Here’s something you folks need to consider. With all the leaks, the unstable staff situations, it’s good to have two people Trump can work with, and has worked with for decades (his daughter, Jared not so long).

I’m faithful to my beliefs. Trump is also.

So lets let him be president, and relax.

None of the hand wringing to this point has turned out to be warranted anyway. Why fret?

Remember how President Trump would get the chants of "LOCK HER UP!" going, talked about investigating and jailing her, and then all of the sudden he backed off and said he "wasn't interested" in going after Hillary's emails and that investigating Hillary's emails "would be very, very divisive for the country"?

Makes you wonder if Kushner asked him to back off - and it's not just Kushner, but it's Ivanka, Priebus, even Bannon.

And before anybody is triggered and attacks me - I'm fully aware that what Hillary did was much worse and 100% deliberate, but you would think that given Hillary's corruption was a cornerstone of Trump's campaign, that his family and aides would be careful about what they do with their own emails.

You're going down a very dangerous road my friend. The idea that just because the other team cheats, we should as well is ridiculous. What's next - somebody cheats on their spouse and gets away with it, so you're going to as well? Somebody robs a bank and gets away with it, so you're going to try as well?
