I am sure that Free Republic has thousands of USAA members, so far USAA is ducking the issue. It is time for them to step up.

I’ve been a USAA member since 1966, as are my 4 children (son in the military)and 2 grandchildren. I don’t think the NFL provides a great platform any more but to disrespect and demean America. I will not tell USAA how they run their business but I think I shall be shopping for insurance soon.

I have been a USAA member since 1973 and find it very disturbing that I have to explain things to you.
Since 1969 I have seen too many friends take their last ride on earth under the American Flag en route to their funeral. It started as friends, then transitioned to squadron mates, then to my students, and now the children of my friends.
At age 70 it will be my turn to take that final ride under the American Flag. After the service that American Flag will be presented to my son as the last remembrance of his father. It will join a host of such flags dating back to the founding of the Republic.
It turns my gut to see highly paid spoiled children having a temper tantrum to get attention. It turns my gut that an employee of USAA doesn’t understand what the American Flag means to her employers - American Veterans and their families and survivors.
Perhaps a boot camp for current and future USAA employees at all levels is required so you will understand that there are things you can not do if you wish to keep your employers content.
I sing O Canada at hockey games when they visit. They have stood with us through everything. I feel as passionately about God Save The Queen too. All about Churchill’s vision.
I tear up as I sing them too.
By the way, saw Kingsman 2 tonight. A celebration of all that is Anglo and American.
I even sing the French version.
Trump should make an effort to take questions during extra-long sessions held during NFL and NBA games. Additional attention should go to the reporters whose networks are broadcasting the press conferences live.

Arm Forces TV push the NFL on soldiers to avoid thinking of conflict decisions, so they jsut do their jobs. But now NFL is politicking to the soldier. Worse, she has no clue that the soldiers might now see a scam in NFL, which is what we are pointing to her.
she obviously does not get it or is an effed up liberal quick to attack Oreilly or Hannity.
I think I am done with them.
