I can guarantee you that President Trump is going to be highlighting this guy's decision to stand out there for the national anthem when nobody else on his team would. Bet he has something interesting in his voicemail after the game.

Glad someone watched it. I’ve now got other things to do now. One guy didn’t follow the herd mentality. Send him a message of support. See no reason for any vet to watch this crap game anymore.

He’s more of a man than the rest of the Steelers put together.
Shame on them.

5-4-3-2-1 Just wait for the lefties to pounce on him for “destroying team unity” or some such thing.

Yes sir my friend. Off to spend some quality time with the family on another gorgeous day here in Northern CA.

I don’t follow football, except for the New England Patriots (or at least I USED to follow them).
Quite frankly, I never heard of Alejandro Villanueva, but as of today, he is my favorite NFL player.
By the way, a dozen black “Patriot” players took a knee during the National Anthem.
On a bright note, I heard a lot of fans at Gillette Stadium booing the kneeling players at the end of the National Anthem.

Article and photos do not show Ben?

Thanks for the report and a huge thank you to Alejandro Villanueva! I wouldn't have known. The NFL won't be on any of my TV's!
BOYCOTT THE NFL!!!!
To: Steve_Seattle
He was the only one who came out? I’d say there’s plenty of team unity. Shame on them.

The Steelers look like a bunch of fools. One guy out of the entire team had the guts to do the right thing. The coaches are losing control of the teams. Players act like a bunch of over-paid crybabies.
To: Dave346
Capt. Alejandro Villanueva, good on ya'! This Vet salutes you for your courage and conviction.
You, sir, should be the Commissioner of the NNFL (NewNationalFootballLeague).

All-Pro Tackle, Alejandro Villanueva is an Army Ranger with 3 combat tours and was decorated with a Bronze Star for valor.
HE knows what gratitude, honor, loyalty, duty and fidelity means.

🤔. They did on the Twitter feed already. Having served, for me, they can do what they want and disrespect my service. I can, in turn not respect what they are doing. Thanks to Vilanueva for doing what he believes is right. The other pampered privileged ones, meh. See ya. But not on tv or a stadium.
