"Day of the Dead Comes to San Francisco," became a bulletin board of vitriol from people decrying the intentions of the event and its cultural appropriation.

Quit culturally appropriating our country and we will give you your stupid holiday

It’s long long past time we start irritating the invaders.
And to always up the response to their response.

How does one “pervert” a tradition which is already putrefied by it’s own demonic obsession with death and images of death?

Beat me to it. Day of the Dead is the perversion of a day to remember Christian saints and others who have gone before.

Exactly...the “day of the dead” is a perversion of the Christian All Saints’/All Souls’ day commemorations.

Day of the Dead reminds me of the Japanese practice of honoring departed ancestors. People go to graveyards with food and drink for those who have gone on before. Yes, there are lots of skeletons involved, but I don’t view it as demonic.

Now, Santa Muerte is another thing all together. While they both feature skeletons, they aren’t the same. One is a wish to be a bit closer to loved ones and the other is a celebration of death itself.

I don’t practice Santeria, I ain’t got no crystal ball
If had a million dollars but I’d, I’d spend it all
If I could find that Heina and that Sancho that she’s found
I’d pop a cap in Sancho and I’d slap her down

Well, good thing they’re not in Mexico so no one should give a ####.

Meanwhile they are calling to destroy Columbus’ statue everywhere.

Americans of Italian descent have contributed what mexicans could only dream of contributing to this country.

Stupid.

No such thing as a whitewashing Dia de Los Muertes. ..

It is celebrated differently in many places.

Chile does it colorfully.

West Hollywood has a pretty awesome party

It’s long long past time we start irritating the invaders.

For English, say..."USA!"

For Spanish....go back to Mexico.

Mexicans are as enamored of death as the Muslims are. And they are ridiculously superstitious.

Please. Who’s exactly upset about this again? Oh, right, not-Mexican SJW freaks.

It’s a dead man’s party
Who could ask for more
Everybody’s coming leave your body at the door...
