Yeah, my wife and I (the only regular TV I watch: Days of Our Lives, she’s a shut-in) sit there and grow taller in our easy chairs watching them list: diarrhea, nausea, cancer, organ failure, hunchbackitis, the heartbreak of psoriasis and on and on.
It started with this: “And `fish antibiotics.” I did not read the original article but it seemed to have no relevance. That is my point.
We have them too and vacuum sealed them to extend their life.
It’s easy to stock up on antibiotics outside the US. Multi-spectrums may still require a doc visit, but basic basics like amoxicillin are otc. We cruise often and rotate our stock regularly.
Do you refrigerate your meds?
My chest freezer is full of rice and beans. And cans of Spam in the pantry for flavoring.
I expect the apocalypse to be unpleasant—and noisy—due our diets.
As the visiting Athenian said, after sampling Spartan black bean gruel, “I can see why you fellows aren’t afraid to die.”
You can still buy them at Walmart online.
I told my daughter that the side effects of some of them are so bad that if I HAD to take any of them I’d park myself at the local emergency room for the day-———and wait, and wait, and wait.:-)
.
I just keep mine in zip-lock bags in an air conditioned, dry place. Not sure it’s necessary to store them in the fridge, though I’ve read some do.
Talk about beating a dead horse. Never mind. Thank you.
A shame how some want to live another day at all costs and in a destroyed world because their faith is so weak and they dont know what awaits us afterwords.
Some retailers are realizing a 3X to 7X increase in sales
Interesting article about supply and demand given todays many political/ social/ economic/ and weather disturbances.
Prepping is a chosen lifestyle, .. not a panic episode.

I’m glad now we did the vacuum sealing. That was 2 years ago.
I understand what you are saying, however, I feel that the distance between living in this world and the afterwards may be substantial.
I am not at all sure it is a manifestation of weak faith to be prepared...There are countless examples of preparedness in the Bible. Also, look at Texas and Florida...Those who were prepared were better able to help those who are not...
Just sayin :)
Well said Fee. Some folks, (even some Christians), just do not get the fight/survive ‘until your last breath’ idea. The lord does not want us to puss out when things get tough. Go down swingin’ and/but trust Him.
Yep that’s true. I guess some people just woke up to a little reality thanks to the recent reminders. Grand daughter is a freshman in high school.
She gave me a glimpse into today’s youth - Don’t listen to the news - it will scare the dickens out of you when they talk about blowing us all up.
Watch The Road. It’s a good Armageddon film.
We have three years of food and firewood, with a 2000 watt generator and two 1000 gal. propane tanks. Our lives would not change much were something to happen. Been “prepped” for ten years.
“That was 2 years ago”
Yeah. Some of the stiff I’ve done I’ve forgotten about it’s been so long. Thank goodness for excel spreadsheets (printed off and stored with the various stuff).

I note that you are in Indiana. You probably could vacuum seal your rice and beans...also there are YouTube videos on how to “can” rice and beans, etc. into mason jars...making them sterile. Then you would free up space in freezer for other things, tho I think freezing is too cold for antibiotics...
