Being from West Virginia, Rep. Manchin has had to push back against the coastal Democratic machine from time to time, but this round, the Dems may have gone too far and might be losing one of their Representatives to the Republican side.
Weve already seen that the Governor of West Virginia, Jim Justice, was willing to switch to the Republican side of the aisle, making his announcement at a Trump rally.
Now, its looking like Rep. Joe Manchin might do the same. Democrats have already lost the state, both in terms of their wide support for Trump and the loss of the Governorship to the Republicans.
Governor Justice has now endorsed Rep. Manchin for re-election in 2018. And with a Senate vote next week that might overturn ObamaCare, Joe will be put to the test. If Rep. Manchin added his vote to pass the Graham-Cassidy bill, he would instantly be lauded for his work in bringing that bit of Republican-promised legislation closer to the Presidents desk for approval.

He gives no sign as to having sources it seems this is just made up. He refers to senator Mancin as Rep Mancin continually which means the author is not very astute. wishful thinking!
He’s not a representative. He’s a senator.
I’m with you! The Democrat Party has left Manchin! And, the rest of the country.
Manchin ran for the senate saying he would kill Obamacare. Theres campaign ads showing him shooting an Obamacare poster with a shotgun.Manchin has always claimed he was pro-life, pro real marriage, and voted against, or was absent, and didn’t vote for the repeal of DADT. On social issues he’s better than a hell of a lot of RINO republicans. I could never really understand why he was a democrat. Probably because he’s daddy was, his granddaddy was, his great granddaddy was, and on down the line. He also knows he can’t keep getting people to vote him as a democrat. Trump carried WV by 40 points. Manchin would be a more reliable republican than McCain ever was.
yes
It worked pretty well for us when we got Ronald Reagan.

Absolutely. Deserves repeating.
Let them all know we no longer buy the “Yay Team!” rah-rah-rah. Actions speak louder than words and titles are meaningless.
They want to run again? They can show us by how they vote.
He won’t switch.
He’s repeatedly said he’s not and his gonna vote to keep Obamacare, again.
1)This is speculation from some blog, I doubt Manchin is switiching
2)Bayh? What are talking about? His career is over after he lost last year. He certainly is not primarying Donnelly.
Manchin would be a great addition to the team...
There is a Senator Joe Manchin. Are they related?

Good catch! The excerpt keeps referring to him as a Representative, instead of a Senator.
Like Donnelly - whose seat is rated most likely to flip - wouldn't do exactly what he was told to do, particularly in a more favorable electoral environment for Bayh.
Like Greg Pence OR his current protege Messer would be considered to be unbeatable by even Donnelly's friends.
Like losing to Young represents Bayh's one loss in 30 years of wins.
I have lived all over. I know lots of places.
LOL, incumbent Donneley is not gonna retire if loser Bayh tells him he wants to take another crack at it.
Meet you back here on May 8, 2018.
Or much, much sooner...
