he end is still nigh just not as nigh as it was earlier this week, a Doomsday writer says.
David Meade, who claimed the world is ending Saturday when a mysterious planet collides with Earth, is now backtracking on the calamitous claim.
Meade said the world wont end on September 23 after all, but instead, Saturday will only mark the beginning of a series of catastrophic events to occur over several weeks.
The world is not ending, but the world as we know it is ending, he told the Washington Post. A major part of the world will not be the same the beginning of October.
Meade said his prediction is based on verses and numerical codes found in the Bible, specifically in the apocalyptic Book of Revelation. He said recent events, such as the solar eclipse and Hurricanes Irma and Harvey, are omens of the approaching apocalypse.
The significant number is 33, according to Meade.

This is why we have Mathew 24:36.

Those words are for those that keep his feasts.
To them, he said “I’ll return at dusk on Tishri 1”
.
.
What a joke he is!
.
May Father bless and prosper you.
Of course he's now "famous" and for the next 20 years he'll periodically come back with an "oh wait! It's actually this day" prediction and all the loons will go crazy again. Wish he wouldn't claim to be a "Christian Numerologist" though. I find the Niribu nuts much less offensive.
But also with the passage from Mark’s Gospel to not set dates.
And why bring in the Jewish calendar into something that is Christian?
Damn! now I have to pay my credit card bills and send in the mortgage payment!
Typical of dispensational premils!
So sad!
Return a Ferrari? Just because doomsday has been slightly delayed?
No. Return something else if you must, but hang on to the Ferrari.
Damn...I’m going to have to send that mortgage payment in after all.
LOL!
Oh, that is really funny.
Good work!
From another source ...
Meade told the Washington Post that he studied astronomy at a university in Kentucky. However, he declined to say which school for safety reasons, the Washington Post reported.
Thank you.
Well, this means I’ll keep my monthly donation to FR going!
Twill come when twill come.
His disciples were/are already here. I didn’t look but I bet there are 15 threads in the last month on the “end is here’.
Let’s see, with this “prediction” we’ve got astrology, numerology, what else? Maybe a little necromancy?
