Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) said in a statement on Friday that he will oppose the Graham-Cassidy Obamacare repeal bill. McCains vote against Graham-Cassidy effectively tanks renewed efforts to repeal Obamacare.
McCain said in a statement: advertisement
I cannot in good conscience vote for the Graham-Cassidy proposal. I believe we could do better working together, Republicans and Democrats, and have not yet really tried. Nor could I support it without knowing how much it will cost, how it will effect insurance premiums, and how many people will be helped or hurt by it. Without a full CBO score, which wont be available by the end of the month, we wont have reliable answers to any of those questions.

I was undecided on the bill until I heard McCain was against it. Then I knew it must be good!

Wow. He actually shot down legislation sponsored by his imbecilic protégé, Lindsey Grahamnesty.
This is a joke.

The Ted Kennedy syndrome.
John McCain was just the Ted Kennedy clone placed strategically within the ranks of Republicans, to continue the Kennedy legacy when Teddy was no longer there.
Unfortunately for McCain, a lot of the same problems that Teddy was heir to, were also inflicted upon McCain.
There are a few problems yet with cloning, you know.

No, just because McCain opposes does not make this repair of Obamacare either repeal or replace.
The ACA is amended, that’s all.

I think you just hit the nail on the head.
Crude inexperienced upstart who hasn’t been vetted and paid his dues, Donald J. Trump, won the Presidency, while the original Never-Trumper,’war hero’ John “Fake Russian Dossier” McCain, couldn’t.
Rank, putrid jealousy.

Rand Paul is also a definite no vote and Susan Collins is “leaning no.” It takes three Republicans to kill it.
To: ColdOne
John McCain can afford his health care premiums. My sympathies to all honest citizens who find it a challenge to pay their own health care premiums because of Obamacare.
