Michael actively worked to defeat Trump.
Therefore, Trump's victories and triumphs are not his.
The best thing Michael can do is STFU about Trump.
He trashed Trump at the point the only alternative was Hillary Rhodam Clinton.
If the guy’s mind was that far gone, his apology won’t matter. He hasn’t the tools left to grasp reality.
President Trump sure as proven himself and I am glad Michael Reagan sees it. If only McCain would see it.

Look, I was a huge fan of Michael Reagan. He and Maureen were two of the shining lights left behind by their father.
And then last fall Michael sold both of them out to help destroy Trump so Clinton could be elected.

Agreed. But McCain is - and always has been - such an egomaniac that I think he really doesn’t care.
If he’s supporting Trump now, give him kudos for that. We need to enlist everybody possible into supporting Trump.

No, they complain complain complain, trash talk all the time and turn this place as sour as they possibly can.
Why would I want a well known guy that could pull that routine with ease?
So he loves us now. Anyone who can commit this level of flip flop, is NOT your friend or political ally.
You could be right about that.
I think Michael went through a lot of family trauma with his wife/kids. And for some bizarre reason some families are so dead set against Trump. They think Trump is a liar, a tax-cheat, a misogynist, and some think he’s a nazi, a racist, a xenophobe, you name it. Bizarre to say the least.
But in my own family, I am waiting for some of them to come around and in the meantime, I have put my foot down that talk of Obama-Trump-Hillary will not be used to divide the family, so the subject is forbidden if it used to name call other family members with different views. But I do see some family members starting to loosen up about Trump and at least acknowledge he is the President.
As I’ve posted on other threads, it took Ronald Reagan two years to the midterms in 1983 to win over the hearts and minds of many of his adversaries and those sitting on the fence. I predict the same for Donald.
You are probably correct.
This is another critical point in the U.S. experience, that it is vitally important which path we take.
Perhaps the realization of that has left me in a, "Take no prisoner" position, but I have a zero tolerance mindset right now.
My comments won't stop Michael from saying what he wants, but I want an asterisk on it, reminding folks that this guy was trashing Trump when the only option was Hillary Clinton.
Then if he goes negative again, folks will not see it as something new. They'll simply think, "Oh this again..."
