An investigation into "discriminatory and highly offensive language" is ongoing at Westfield State University after a student reported finding a racial slur on her door.
A senior at Westfield State shared a photo on social media alleging someone wrote "n****** live here" on a name tag taped to her door. The alleged incident reportedly happened in New Hall, a housing complex on campus for sophomore, junior and senior students.
The black student tagged the college and Westfield State President Ramon S. Torrecilha in the post and received a quick response.
Torrecilha sent a message to the campus community regarding the incident and told the student directly. "This is unacceptable & will not be tolerated. Those responsible will be held accountable. This is not the Westfield I know."
In his message to other students and faculty, Torrecilha said the behavior is in "strong contrast with the values and mission of Westfield State University."

Well, here it is:
Just graduated from there in May and throughout my year at the college, there was a massive amount of pro-Trump rhetoric across the campus. And, with this comes anti-semitic and white nationalist ideals. Many students across the campus spoke very highly of Trump with little backing or knowledge about politics, but he appealed to many of them because he dumbed down things for these kids (most of whom are criminal justice majors). Thus, the students think he was "cool", because of the things he said, and with that comes this notion that its acceptable to act in a way that is hateful. This issue is proof of that. FlagShare
I actually graduated from WSU several years ago. Most of the black students at the time had no interest in learning any useful skills and flocked to Liberal Arts an Ethnic and gender studies courses.
They also frequently dropped the n word in casual conversation among themselves.
