The head of Sen. Luther Strange's campaign fundraising committee is listed on federal tax documents as an officer in the nonprofit agency federal prosecutors say was used to bribe an Alabama lawmaker who pleaded guilty to federal corruption charges this month.
That executive, Thompson Tractor CEO Mike Thompson, is among the state's influential business leaders, with a long history of supporting candidates and political causes.

This is the very least of things they could write about dirty Luther.
This newspaper hates Judge Moore with a passion like no other, so this is probably about all they will report in Big Luther.

In my opinion, Big Luther is dirty and can be controlled. That's why they picked him.

I don’t have an opinion one way or the other on Strange or Moore.
It does seem strange though that Trump has picked a side. Why?
To: Bodleian_Girl
Thanks. That may make good sense. I don’t know the guy all that well.

I think he was sold a bill of goods from GOPe Republicans without realizing it.
Moore is reportedly the much better candidate.

I see no evidence of Trump getting anything from the GOPe for pushing Strange. I just don’t get it. Moore is clearly the better choice.

Thanks for the link to that information.

I tend to agree with you.
Here’s a bunch of folks who have refused to work with him, and he supports a like-minded man with them.
Just strange...

The guy is a liberal, but he’s the only one who reported on what Governor Bentley was doing, almost a year before the newspapers would.
He ended up in jail for a blog and while he was in jail, Luther’s “friend” Jennifer had his served with papers to answer a claim about her made in his blog, but he was never served. So the judge declared him guilty when he was never served or notified about a trial.
He and his wife ended up losing their home because of it.

Luther is dirty, whether or not Trump knows it. The entire state of Alabama knows it.

Well he seems pretty solid in his support to me. Its not like Trump to make snap judgements on people from what I have seen him do...
If he is that solid on him, maybe there is a reason?

This is a bad call on Trumps part.
In exchange for closing down the investigation into Gov. Bentely’s ax scandal, Bentely gave Strange the appointment to Jeff Sessions seat.
