According to Angie Wellman, associate director in the Student Life Multicultural Center who led the event, every race that is not white lacks the power aspect, which is why white people cannot be victims of racism.

Twenty people (19 were “white”) and the only speaker to make such a stupid remark was “Angie”, a stunt double to SNL’s Pat of indeterminate gender. The reporting writer also attends OSU and is a Conservative. Compared to inmate run asylums such as Cornell and Oberlin, Ohio State is not that bad.
Uh, the Kent State shooting was in May, 1970.
Alas, I was still there that year, too.
Memories of being suppressed and victimized can be very powerful influences leading to kicking the crap out of someone. Not the black student, it wasn't his memories; but your memories that can lead to future payback. It was racism inflicted on you.
In the late 1960s I was attacked by black mobs and beaten. My blonde girlfriend at the time was thrown down a stairwell by blacks, just for being white. That indeed was racism. If I inflict pain on blacks who get in my face today, I'll be remembering those memories of being suppressed. If that's racism on them, it's racism by them for what they do to whites. After all our memories of suppression are real; theirs are a fiction because they aren't personal.
He looks like he played football in high school...
Who should fear racist actions most: A black man who has a car breakdown in an all-white neighborhood, or a white man who breaks down in an all-black neighborhood?
It is not news that leftists lie about everything!!!!!!!
“...every race that is not white lacks the power aspect...”
I guess “whites” better stop diluting their power by letting “non-whites” gain “white” status. Specifically whites need to kick out Jews, Irish, Spanish, and all Spanish speakers via guilt by lingual association, all ex-British Empire people who like to think white but are obviously a shade or two off, Welsh, Slavs, Eye-talians,etc, etc.
I think some Asians, Hispanics, and even Indians (from India) are starting to assert their right to be white.
“What theyre calling racism is really recognition of natural consequences of subculture behaviors. Bad behavior begets bad consequences, regardless of race. Groups that favor bad behavior tend to teach that bad behavior to their kids.”
I would add that, like individuals, groups have reputations which play an important role in how people view and interact with those groups.
That all depends on many factors. Too generalized. But based on what passes for all-black neighborhoods these days, yes a white man should fear being there. When I was in I.T. I managed a crew of techs, some were black. One lived in the ghetto, and never wanted me to visit him there. He was a tough guy, owned a shotgun and he himself was afraid of the all-black neighborhood. I appreciated that he was looking out for me and I looked out for him. Upper managers didn't like him because he looked ghetto and talked the part, but the guy really knew his networking and was smart. I helped him get into a systems engineering job. No one should do harm to someone based on race, unless they're first doing harm to you based on your race, that's my motto.
“According to Angie Wellman, associate director in the Student Life Multicultural Center who led the event, every race that is not white lacks the power aspect, which is why white people cannot be victims of racism.”
So if a large black guy decides to beat the hell out of a 70 year old white women solely because he hates white people, that is not racist?
“Wouldnt that be racist to ask them to look up something in a book written and printed by White People?”
And worse, written on white paper.
Part of that scenario happened to me in Buffalo, NY, on my way to Canada. I think I was lucky to escape.
"Of course not, silly! He's black and she's white. QED." said the stupid Liberal...
“Group reputation” - good phrase I needed.
The key is tactfully pointing out how that “group” is identified. If they self-identify their group as X having characteristics Y, note that group X has a certain reputation - and that we’re not Zist for identifying X as Y, _they_ are, and that X _earned_ that reputation objectively, not because we’re supposedly Zist.
You know, that whole “we hate racists & sexists - you white males get the f out of here you aholes!” Maybe we don’t want to be around them because...they’re racist & sexist; reputation, ya know.
So every time I got called “White Boy” while living in Laredo, TX, Pueblo, CO, in the break room of my first ship, walking into my favorite deli in Ecorse, MI... none of that was racism. Shoot... my bad.
Of course they can. What do you think affirmative action is if not reverse racism?
