Just heard on the news, the Mexican officials had just completed earth quake drills prior to the quake. I think different officials around the world are paying attention to dutchsinse.com as he has been putting out warning which have been pretty accurate. As opposed to the USGS which has apparently not been listing the smaller earthquakes which have been predicted to try and discredit the forecasting.
But then again government scientists are political scientists.
Whom would you believe is more accurate?
A government employee who gets paid regardless of outcome and faces no retribution for being wrong.
OR
A private sector person whose total career is on the line dependent upon their credibility and accuracy?
The earthquake hit on the anniversary of the 1985 quake. The drills had been scheduled for that same date with respect to the 1985 quake anniversary.
