The Emmys are a Hollywood bubble show," Media Research Center vice president Dan Gainor told Fox News. "Actors and directors get to pretend they are important because they are doing such insightful takes on life in America, when they have zero idea what life in America is for the other 330 million people."
Hollywood wont walk away from politics. The left wants to force politics into every single aspect of our lives -- from sports to movies to the food we eat. They wont be satisfied until we are all appropriately woke to their struggles du jour, Gainor told Fox News.
The Emmys celebrate shows that almost no one either watches or cares about," he said. "No ordinary Americans care about The Handmaids Tale. No ordinary Americans watch Veep.

I’ve never watched any of these “awards” shows. Just not interested in the lives of truly small people.
I didn’t even know this originated from a book. Thought the series was it’s own.
What are the Emmys? And, why does anyone care?
What does Hollywood and the MSM have in common?
Disney, Comcast, Viacom.
The Emmys prove that Trump is still providing those media morons with a livelihood they wouldn’t have without him. He provides the content. They derive their second-hand, Trump-hating crap from it. If he weren’t there to be a catalyst for their derangement, they’d have to come up with something original all on their own.
Wait a minute! The Emmy’s did provide a stage for Dolly Parton to display what a true ass she is. I hope that all of the country music lovers paid attention to her Trump bashing.
What little I saw was utterly disgusting.
I never watch things like that though.
The Emmys are meaningless. Most of the nominees campaigned heavily for their awards.
Just replace “Christianity” with “Islam” while reading. That’s the only way the book or movie makes any sense.
Good fix. Joe McCarthy was certainly over target.
I watched about 2 minutes, some show I never heard of won something “Black Mirror”??? I read an article that commented about how their Trump bashing was “contained, delivered with more steadfastness and polish than outrage”, barf. The whole thing is just a bunch of aholes patting themselves on the back.
The guy who played Chris Darden on that OJ miniseries won best actor for some annoying melodrama I’ve never seen. Notable cause he was like the only guy from a broadcast network drama to win in years.
They gave Alec Baldwin an emmy for his shiitey Trump impression, that’s like Obama’s nobel prize right there.

She was hot, man, don’t do coke.
Would I be able to discuss Parton’s considerable boobs without Brooke Baldwin cutting my mic?
Black mirror is a sort of Twilight Zone. It’s mostly in England and in the future. There have been 3 seasons on Netflix but only 3- episodes a season. New episodes coming up. One of the episodes won an award the series no. If you watch try more then 1 episode. Each one a little different than the others.
Wow. Lilly Tomlin, Dolly Parton, and Jane Fonda get up there to bash Trump. I expect that brainless crap from Fonda and Tomlin, but Parton? That surprised me. And not just the criticism, the tone of it, the crudeness.
I always respected Dolly Parton as a businesswoman and music talent, but...not anymore. Not after seeing that.
Ah British.
Yeah most of their shows have what we would consider very few episodes a season. Which is probably good for quality sake. US broadcast Network shows are still churning out 22 or so episodes a year.
Nobody who uses this term should be taken seriously. Including Mr. Gainor.
Agreed. I refuse to use their nomenclature. Using the word "homosexual" instead of "gay" produces a very uncomfortable response in people. This "woke" is another example of something I refuse.
OTOH, when I hear someone use it, I get a lot of information about that person in that one word. Tells you all you need to know. It tells you what they subscribe to.
