A number of angry parents are considering legal action after a charter school kindergarten teacher staged what one critic calls a transgender “transition ceremony” in class for a five-year-old boy without informing parents beforehand.
But Rocklin Academy Schools has countered that it didn’t have to tell parents about the transgenderism lesson that has left a number of five-year-olds shaken and disturbed. Because gender identity isn’t sex education, the administration said, it's not subject to California’s parental consent and opt-out laws, reported Fox40News.
Moreover, with gender identity and gender expression prohibited grounds for discrimination in the state, not to accept a five-year-old “trans girl” could leave the Sacramento-area charter school board open to lawsuits.
Parents only found out what happened from their kids, says Jonathan Keller of the California Family Council, a Focus on the Family-founded group that’s advising parents.

Sometimes I feel like someone has picked me up and transported me to another planet. These people are sick.
Public schools are simply government indoctrination centers designed to alienate children from their parents. Dewey was right. Abolish public schools, leave the education in private hands.
Is there a reason we need public schooling in today’s age of the internet? I would prefer my kid stay home, take classes via video and if it segues into leftist indoctrination you can immediately shut it off. Anyone ever hear of Khan Academy? Lessons about anything and everything all free. Taxpayers don’t pay a dime and aren’t forced to finance the mental abuse of their children....

I still remember when I was that age and my sister got me playing dolls with her and such and baking cookies on the play stove. I didn't know any better. I was just 5 or 6 years old. If that happened today, who knows what would have happened to me.
Changing the gender of a child is absolutely sick.
Raising kids has never been easy, but at least previous generations had some bedrock to anchor the hardest parts to. Who wants to be the parent or grandparent when little Susie asks to have a sleepover with her best girlfriend who has a penis instead of a vagina?

Please select schools for your kids that wouldn’t even entertain something like this.
The correct response (if homeschooling is not an option) is a premature but detailed lesson on the real world:
Some adults lie about important things.
Some adults are mistaken about important things.
No, boys cannot become girls, either by choice or by accident. There is nothing to worry about.
No, girls cannot become boys, either by choice or by accident. There is nothing to worry about.
Boys and girls are not allowed to ask questions about this at school because sensible questions will get them in trouble with people who enjoy getting angry.
Can you tell whether you are a boy or a girl? How? Your classmate doesn’t understand this, and because their parents are also confused, you will get in trouble if you try to explain it.
I could go on, but the best response to wrong information is the truth, in all the detail that is necessary.
I think all of this has been incrementally building since the beginning of Progressives in America. I do believe the culture rot manifested with Presidents Clinton and Obama. Conservatives are not without culpability. We have been complacent and rather apathetic.
A 5 year old isn’t old enough to choose their bed time but are old enough to make a decision that will affect the rest of their lives?
The left controls the schools. Schools control the minds of kids. The left wants to remove all parents’ influence over kids upbringing, and destroy all vestiges of Christian morality. Looks like they are succeeding.

The parents and the people running the school district are no more mature than the child.
Unrelated: I found out a friend of mine has been embezzling money from his non-profit. This non-profit was said to rescue kids from the sex trade in asia.
Turns out, he was just taking money.
You know, I can’t seem to fathom the evil in this world. He is the 4th person I know to have done this. There is simply very little good left in the world today.
I used to think that WWIII would level the playing field. Then I thought it would take no less than a mile-wide asteroid. Now I know that only the Rapture could clean this mess up.
Child abuse. The kid should be placed in a home where he has a chance to grow up with normal, healthy minded foster parents.

The Roman Catholics won’t even give a child under six Holy Communion because they are considered under the age of reason. There is no justification for his packer to be chopped off because of a childhood fantasy he wants to be Tinker Bell.
